I have no idea why this isn't mentioned on websites from "experts" offering their 2 cents on the Top 10 döner vendors in Berlin. In my opinion, it is hands down the best place in Berlin. Nothing else comes close for döner and dürum (with or without meat). You see the care and attention during the process of making it and the prices are very reasonable. It's extremely easy to get to. Closest station is Schlesisches Tor on the U1 line. The venue has seating for about 6-8 people inside, with about the same on the street. They are pretty quick, but sometimes there can be a queue. The Veggie Dürum is exactly the same as the Gemüse Dürum, just without the chicken, but it still has the same exact price = 8€, which is a rip-off considering there's no chicken!! Nor falafel or hallumi!!! I thought there would be some makali or various fried veggies replacing the chicken / hallumi / falafel, but there's just the fried potatoes that are already included in the other 3 versions. So charging the same price makes no sense at all. The wrap was also kind of dry, crumbly and hard to bite on. The flavour itself was ok, so not giving only 1 star.

Read moreAs an American visiting Berlin for work, I feel lucky to have tried lots of döner over the years. The kebab I had here tonight might be the best I’ve ever had- perhaps the best I’ve had anywhere in Deutschland. Everything was so fresh and well-composed and flavorful, with all the little touches and garnishes that push it over the top. I wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it all the time. But I’ll always remember it.
