Space Meduza — Restaurant in Berlin

It was the worst day of Berlin bars. If you want your money to be stolen by the bartender directly and insulting by them, you definitely go to Space Meduza. Unfortunately I am using this word “stealing” cause yes there is no other explanation. They don’t use a current menu, the prices which they’re charging you are different than menu. Yesterday I ordered something for €22. I also added tips of course and in total it was like €24. They refuse giving the bill some reasons and I didnt care. I paid wth card and until I sit back and start drinking my vine, I didn’t realise that they charged me €31. Then I tought they charged me because there is an event. And I didn’t want to complain because I thought okay it can be my fault. but when the event finished they already came to tables to ask for donation, and when I said that the bar already charge me, I learned that it’s a free event. At this moment of course, I made my donation for event too. And I went to Bar. I explained the situation. They told me that I am totally right, they charged me more than the prices on the menu. so I -of course- ask to get my money back which they charged me extra by their fault. After this moment the bartender suddenly became so rude and started to insulting me. He said he doesnt care and if you want just write instagram. they very rudely insulted me. It was very unpleasant experience. I dont know why some people feel themselves that free to behave that horrible. I want to find the owner of the place and I hope they watch the camera footages to see how nice I was and this thieves were how unacceptable. If I would be an owner of this kind of a bar, I would never let my employees to steal customers money and...

Якщо одним реченням то: «Це було моє розчарування.» Друзі приїхали з Англії, розповідаю їм про цей бар. Перші емоції «ой супер клас», а заходиш і розумієш, що наче ти зайшов не в ту квартиру, а хотілось якогось душевного братерства та єдності. 24 листопада, 18:15. Ми були одні з перших хто прийшов. Я буду писати по пунктах:

На барі. Бармен, хлопець у кепці, не привітний від слова зовсім, кидає сухе «Hi» і займається далі своїми справами. Тільки через годину нашого перебування там ми один раз побачили як він усміхається і звертає увагу на когось, але це все ще був не клієнт. За барним столом, де: працюють люди та стоять бокали – шаряться усі кому не ліньки. Уже не розумієш чи то бармени, власники закладу, організатори або друзі, яким там точно не потрібно бути. Мені здається будь-яка бродяча собака може зайти і почати робити коктейлі, а їй ніхто нічого не скаже.

Атмосфера. Заклад витягує гарне вбрання, декорації, світло підхрамує, але вцілому більш менш. Тільки не зрозуміло де знаходиться медуза, у морі чи космосі, і де знаходимось ми та яке місце ми займаємо у цьому закладі. Наліпили все що бачили, деякі речі вписуються, а деякі як збоку бантик. Про Україну нагадують наліпки на зовнішній стороні закладу і нещасний портрет Шевченка з тим надписом, господи. Як кажуть бабусі: «Хоч хрестись та тікай». (оффтоп: колір фарби на портреті прикольний зробіть більше цього кольору в різних кутках, біля м'якого освітлення). Ми почувалися там наче не медузи в морі, в своєму осередку існування. Ми були викинуті на берег і не почували себе як дома, хоч і всі розмовляли українською.

Музика. Тому хто придумав це крутити місце на 9 крузі Данте, читали? Одна пісня із всіх (за дві години) була більш менш нормальною. Якщо вже таке крутити то хоч якого Емінема там. Але такий жанр музики не підходить до закладу. Або вам потрібен ребрендинг або інший вибір музики. Це не діло.

Випивка. Апероль від хлопця в кепці: 10/10. Дякую. Апероль від дівчини с косою: 8/10. Все ще непогано. Порада: на смак робіть трохи м'якше. Друзі жалілися, що нема вибору пива. Це мінус закладу. Чистота посуду це однозначно мінус: брудний, липкий, з розводами.

Тож: Атмосфера: 7/10. Чистота: 4/10. (Зверніть увагу на вбиральню). Випивка: 8.5/10.

We visited the pub for "The real show", a comedy show hosted by Dave and Daniel. It was a very engaging show at a perfect atmosphere. However nice the ambience was, the bartender was super rude to me. She was on her phone when we arrived for the show and without knowing who to ask about the seats, I asked her with an "excuse me". But her retort was shocking: "Could you wait??! I am not on Instagram but I am doing so and so for the previous customer" (honestly, we didn't know why she was on her phone).
