A 2001-ben felavatott, bronzból, illetve gránitból készült szoborcsoport, a Filozófiai Kert Wagner Nándor Japánban élt szobrász munkája. A szoborcsoportot gipszbe öntve 1985-ben mutatta be a nagyközönségnek. Az összesen három példányban kiöntött alkotásból egyet szülőhazájának, Magyarországnak kívánt adományozni, azonban 1997-ben bekövetkezett halála megakadályozta őt szándéka beteljesítésében. A szobrász végakarata szerinti adományozás végül japán felesége segítségével jött létre.

A kertben Ehnaton, Jézus, Buddha, Lao-ce, valamint Ábrahám szobra áll kör alakban, melynek közepén a közös Istenséget jelképező fénylő gömb található. A szobrász élete utolsó tizenöt évét a szoborcsoport megalkotásának szentelte. A Filozófiai kertből 2007-ben három szobor eltűnt. A művész özvegye segítette a szoborcsoport helyreállítását, és a Budavári Önkormányzat rendelkezésére bocsátotta a hiányzó szobrok öntőformáit. A szobrokat újraöntötték, és 2010 óta ismét eredeti formájában láthatjuk a...

A thing of beauty is joy forever. Here you have a garden of philosophy.....sensory, sophisticated, making you think, reflect, be grateful and be deep. There is a beautiful panoramic view of Budapest surrounding you, and yet you find yourself atop the middle hill, appreciating the surrounding hubbub yet the silence around you. The monument at the garden is one stunning piece of art and spirituality. Here you find Abraham in prostration before divinity, and Laozi, Siddhartha, Akhenaten and Jesus surrounding in a circle. It is such a deeply moving piece of human marvel one just has to appreciate the observation. If you happen to be in Budapest, take a walk up the hill, you will certainly...

One of the best parks to go to if you want to avoid crowds but still want a beautiful lookout of the city. It's located not far from a very frequented bus stop so getting here is easy. The place is pretty spacious, you can totally have a picnic or even play badminton or Frisbee here too. The only downside I can think of is that there is no toilet here, which is a shame because, most of the people do their business in the bushes. It's not visible from where you walk around casually but it's a thing to be aware of. There's no trash because there are many trash cans around the park. There are a few benches here and there but most people sit on the ground in the grass.
