I enjoyed every moment of my brunch here! Came across this place randomly when I was exploring the Buda side on my solo trip and needed to eat something before I climbed up the the hills. It’s a cute little eatery next to the street with outdoor seats available and blankets if you need. Bathroom inside is cute too. They have so many yummy options on the menu. I got eggs royal which is like eggs Benedict, but with smoked salmon instead and it was soooo delicious. I loved the presentation and vibrant coloirs on the plate!
Saw a matcha photoshoot by the table in front of me and it looked so good that I had to add it to my tab. I was really impressed about the fact that they use a ceremonial grade matcha from Mathæologist for their drinks, which lived up to my expectations in colour and taste. Super silky and creamy texture, they also have different milk options if you don’t want to go for dairy milks.
Service was excellent as well. My server was really helpful, friendly and attentative. I ordered a cappuccino with coconut milk at the start and forgot to specify my milk when I added the pink matcha to my bill and he took the time to come out and check the milk options for me!🥹💘
This is definitely a hidden gem as I believe people mostly go to brunches on the Pest side. But if you are exploring Gellert Hills, Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion, pop in here to refuel your body with...
Read moreThey really try to rip you off! They have different types of non-alcoholic beverages on the menu, with prices around 550 Forint. But beware! This price is for just 0,1 liter - and that is way too much for such a small quantity! The price would be okay for 0,3 to 0,4 litres. The information about the quantity is printed in the menu with a very small size and not near tthe beverage. This is made on purpose to make you think, you get a normal amaount of juice for that price. So you order your drink, get a glass with approximately 0,2 liters of juice - and when you pay your bill, it is said that the price is not 550 Forint, but 1650 Forint, as the glass was filled with three times the amout that is written in the menu. There was no hint about 0,1 liter and the prive at ordering, there was no hint about the amount of juice and the price when it was served, there are absolutely no calibration marks on the glass - but when it comes to pay, it is said, that you had three times the amount as indicated (but not clearly visible) in the menu, because you looked soooo thirsty. And the the discussins with the waiter began.... We wanted to speak with the chef - but as the waiter said, the chef cannot be reached....
We left after longer discussions without paying the extra amount - but experiences like that can easily ruin a whole day in a nevertheless worth...
Read moreI was at Zileat brunch last week on June 13th. I ordered truffle pasta with chicken. After a few hours I started feeling very weak and it turned out that I got the worst food poisoning in my life. It was so bad that I even had a fever of 38 degree for 2 days in a row. I spend all weekends in bed as I was very weak and couldn't move much. I urge the managers to take care of this situation and charge me back full amount of my bill. Food poisoning is a very serious issue and I am highly suspicious about hygiene norms at your place after this incident!
UPD You can see by their answer how low class and unprofessional they are. Not only they poison their customers but they also mock their experience. Last thing I was thinking about while being poisoned is to contact your email address!
Now, I am writing a report to the sanitary inspection with all the proofs. Enjoy...
