Vuk playground — Attraction in Budapest

A very nice playground at the Citadel, perfect location to play and then have an amazing view on the whole city.

Finally we tried it with our 1,5-year toddler. It was so worth it. We went there in February and in the morning that’s why it was almost empty but I’m sure it is much busier in warmer time ☺️

👌 big space with creative tools to play with 👌they have swing where the parent can sit on it at the same time and swing together with the kid! 🥰❤️ 👌you can play chess ♟ with big figures or just carry them like our little son 😂 There is an explanation of the game on the fence if someone wants to refresh their chess-memories ☺️ 👌i love that there are a lot of trees 👌we really liked the cartoon figures they are so cute and look real 👌they have different tunnels that the children can safely use 👌i like the wooden playground climbing frames than the metal. So it is very good. They are also in good condition which is very important 👌it is free 🥰 👌fence is around the playground and the door can be closed, it is safe 👌there also table with benches so you can sit down with your kids and eat, very comfortable 👌everything is comfortable already for a 1,5-year old, the climbing frames, stairs, slides are not too big or dangerous

Scroll down for the English version. A Gellért-hegy árnyas fái alatt található Vuk játszótér igazi mesebeli hangulatot áraszt. A játszótér központi elemei a Vuk meséből ismert állatfigurák faszobrai, amelyek azonnal mosolyt csalnak a gyerekek arcára. A játszótéren minden megtalálható, ami egy tökéletes családi naphoz szükséges: ivókút, WC és pelenkázó, valamint fedett padok és asztalok, ahol a szülők is kényelmesen pihenhetnek.

A gyerekek számára különleges élményt nyújt a homokozó, a hosszú trambulin szőnyeg, az óriási sakk tábla, valamint a különféle hinták, beleértve a baba-mama hintát is. A játszótér közelében található kisbolt és kávézó pedig további kényelmet biztosítanak. A Citadella közelsége pedig lehetőséget ad egy rövid sétára is, hogy a napot még emlékezetesebbé tegyük.

English: Nestled under the shady trees of Gellért Hill, the Vuk Playground exudes a truly magical atmosphere. The central features of the playground are the wooden sculptures of animal characters from the beloved Vuk story, which instantly bring smiles to children's faces. The playground is equipped with everything needed for a perfect family day: a drinking fountain, restrooms, and a changing table, as well as covered benches and tables where parents can relax comfortably.

Children can enjoy the sandbox, the long trampoline mat, the giant chessboard, and various swings, including a baby-mama swing. Nearby, a small shop and café provide additional convenience. The proximity to the Citadella offers the opportunity for a short walk, making the day even...

Esőzés után mentünk és ezért a csúszda, valamint az alagút útvesztő kimaradt (nedves, saras volt) de így is volt lehetősége a gyermeknek több eszközön levezetni az energiáját. Talán egyedül a kötélhinta nem tetszett se a gyermeknek, se nekünk felnőtteknek, mert a végén nagyot rántott! Meg merem kockáztatni a kijelentést, hogy rendkívül balesetveszélyes. A kicsi fiú a hintát bérelte ki egy időre, majd a sakkfigurákat tanulmányozta, illetve a tesó kezét fogva végigsétált az ugrálószőnyegen (trambulinszerű szőnyeg) 😊

Hétvége lévén, ráadásul mert nem volt tarhonyaszárítgató meleg sem, így aztán meg tudtunk állni a játszótér bejáratánál és nem kellett a pakolásért sem fizetni. Máskor lehet ezzel azért gondunk lett volna. Illetve most nem voltak sokan az időjárás miatt vagy mert vidékre utaztak a családok a hosszú hétvégére :) így nem volt tumultus, minden játékot ki lehetett próbálni és gond nélkül lehetett fotózkodni a kedves mesefigurákkal is. Jóidőben ismerősöktől úgy hallottam tele szokott lenni...
