Best Gourmet Pizza Experience in Coimbatore!
Visited this pizza place today. I’m not a big fan of pizza, but they might have just changed my mind. My cousin wanted to check it out on my sister’s suggestion — and I’m glad we did!
They serve well-curated gourmet pizzas with a unique twist. Everything they served felt fresh
What we ordered: • Half & Half Pizza (Kerala Roast + Chicken BBQ) – Neapolitan (hand-tossed) crust • Half & Half Pizza (Margherita + Paneer BBQ) – Thin crust • Slice of Pink – Thin crust, pork pepperoni • Crispy Fried Oyster Mushrooms • Crispy Fried Chicken Strips • Peri Peri Fries • Iced Mocha • Hot Chocolate – Extra Thick
Food Highlights: • Neapolitan crust – 10/10. Perfectly done — airy, soft, and flavorful. • Thin crust – Light and crisp. • Kerala Roast Pizza – A brilliant fusion. Spicy and well-balanced — loved it. • Chicken BBQ & Paneer BBQ – Good, but didn’t stand out much. • Slice of Pink (Pork Pepperoni) – Rare to find pork pepperoni and absolutely delicious. • Margherita – Classic and satisfying. • Crispy Fried Chicken Strips – Crunchy on the outside, tender inside. Comes with a sweet-spicy chilli honey dip. • Crispy Fried Oyster Mushrooms – Even better than the chicken strips. Will choose this over chicken next time! • Iced Mocha – Rich, refreshing. My cousin even ordered a second. • Hot Chocolate – Extra Thicc – A bit too rich and cloying. Should’ve gone with the regular version.
Ambience: Cozy and inviting. A nice place to unwind with great food.
Overall: If you’re in Coimbatore and love good pizza (or even if you don’t!), this spot is definitely...
Read moreWent to the place based on the reviews of their cloud delivery kitchen. It was a mixed bag. Starting with the PROS, The thin crust veg pizza was mind blowing. Their unique take on chicken satay was good. The toppings were all fresh and crisp. Now the CONS , The regular pizza was a crispy "papad" with thick edges, How can a seasoned pizzeria do this amateur mistake? The crispy chicken strips were a disaster, it was coated with a thick dough and was served very very late. We never waste food. We left some of the chicken "bajji" behind. The service was late, we had to keep reminding for our order Not enough parking space, we had park our cars on the road Finally the biggest let down of all.. the experience, We went there during the 2nd week after they had opened, when we went to pay they didn't have card as a payment option, the hostess plainly told us that it was either cash or UPI, it was neither mentioned anywhere in the pizzeria nor was it informed to us before we sat down for food. Mind you, the bill was 4k and change. We pooled in the money and gave them 4.5k, to which that asked us to pay 4k in cash and the rest by UPI as they did not carry change(then why state cash as an option?). I would always give a place with okish food a second chance but never for a place with a...
Read moreI recently visited Van Dough Pizza and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and vibrant, setting the perfect tone for a great dining experience.
The service was top-notch. The host, Siddharth, went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. He even took the extra step of reheating our food to ensure it was served at the ideal temperature, which was greatly appreciated. Our server, Sudharshan, was equally amazing—attentive, friendly, and efficient. His knowledge of the menu and prompt service made our dining experience seamless and enjoyable.
As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. The pizza was delicious, with a perfect crust and a generous amount of toppings. Each bite was a testament to the quality and care that goes into the preparation.
Overall, Van Dough Pizza exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere makes it a standout choice for pizza lovers. I highly recommend visiting and will definitely be...
