One of the most Busiest,Litest and Energetic GastroPubs in BKC.As the outlet is located in BKC the crowd visiting this Restaurant is really good.BKC is the Corporate Hub of Mumbai according to me and there are alot of other GastroPub in BKC.But Butterfly High is maintaining its standards and keeping its head high in the Competition.Due to its Vibrant Decor and Lovely Ambience Butterfly High attract alot of crowd on weekends.The GastroPub is located on the Ground Floor of Jet Airways in G Block near MCA in Bandra Kurla Complex.The outlet is really easy to locate and you easy fall in love with the Decor and the Ambience of the outlet once you enter.If its difficult for you to find the restaurant i would suggest you to take the help of Google Maps which will guide you to the exact location.

Butterfly High is a Gastropub located in the Corporate Hub of Mumbai which is BKC.The place is packed on Weekends due to its Delicious Food and Vibrant Decor.This outlet is one of the best in BKC and was on my Bucket list since so long.Finally i decided to visit it and it was totally worth it.
The Ambience of Butterfly High is well planned and it is also one of the reason that this outlet is so Famous.Each and every corner of the outlet is picture perfect because of its Vibrant Decor.Butterfly High provide Indoor Seating which is so comfortable that i didn't feel like leaving the restaurant.They also have a Fully Functional Bar available which serves some Delicious Mocktails & Cocktails.
People usually visit this outlet on Weekends to Enjoy the Nightlife and they also have a Live Sports Screening to attract the sports enthusiasts.ButterFly High offer Modern Indian and Continental Cuisines for the customers.Butter Chicken,Mocktails,Cocktails,Fish are some commonly ordered dishes.
Staff working at the restaurant is very alert and helps you when ever prompted.They staff is really friendly,they also suggest you the best dish available as per your taste.Live music pumps some energy into the place.Outlet also has a separate Smoking zone.

ā¾2) Butterfly High(C)-One of the best Cocktail which is named after the Outlet itself.Topped with black olives and the Cocktail isn't hard to drink.

ā¾1)Crumb Fried Chicken Bao-Crumbed fried Chicken is stuffed between steamed buns and it is dizzle with spicy Mayo.The dish was a bit spicy hut awesome in taste. Highly recommended ā„ļø
ā¾2)Spicy Chicken Skewer-Skewers are one of the best starters to have.Soft Chicken Breast is marinated in spicy marinate and cooked evenly from both the side.The chicken was really soft and awesome in taste.

ā¾1)Butter Chicken with Mini Kulcha-One of the best Butter Chicken a have ever had.I just had i complaint that the Kulcha's where too small and the quantity of Butter Chicken was more.But it was the best Butter Chicken i ever had. Really Loved it you should give it a Try.ā„ļø
ā¾2) Chicken Burnt Garlic Rice with Sapo Sauce-Wok style rice flavoured with burnt garlic topped with an oriental style sauce.The sauce was a bit sour in taste but the rice complemented it very well.The Chicken was soft and evenly cooked.I really loved the Main Course.

ā¾1) Mario's Discovery-A unique and well presented Dessert which was really great in Taste.The presentation of this dish was upto the mark.The base of this Dessert was chocolate and there were white chocolate mushroom on it.I really Loved the Dessert and wish to give it a try again.

Food:
1 Smoked Rozali Kebab ā Ummm that smokey fragrance was trying to escape the dome shaped vessel. There was so much smoke inside due to which we could barely see the chicken pieces inside. But once the vessel was removed omg firstly kudos to the presentation and secondly it looked like more of a treasure to us which didnāt even felt to eat for once just stare it but since it was served hot and tempting to us we quickly took them in our plates. Chicken kebabs were perfectly marinated which had the juicy flavour from outside and inside was stuffed minced chicken kheema and melted cheese. Tasted much more delicious with the green chutney. A must try at Butterfly Highā¦..
2 Lamb Tikki Cheese Melt ā Minced lamb was given the shape of tikki with melted cheese stuffed inside. Top of the tikki was garnished with tomato sauce and base was residing pita bread. Overall I found it to be ok in taste. It could have been much better if the minced lamb had a bit of crunchiness along with the quantity of cheese inside should have been a bit on the higher side. Well itās my personal recommendation.
3 Prawns Rawa Fry ā Save Tiger we would all agree to it but saving these gigantic tiger prawns naaah sorry they are mineā¦.So far the biggest sized prawns ever seen and yes after eating them it was mission accomplished. They were coated and fried with rawa and stacked over a skewer which resembled like a mountain piled up with prawns. Amazing burst of flavours because of the mango and coconut chutney. Total Paisa Vasool Starter to go for when at Butterfly High.
4 Ghee Roast Chicken Risotto ā Creamy comfort is the word for this Risotto though we were almost full but trying Risotto for the first time didnāt left me disappointed. Balance of flavours and ample amount of chicken pieces what else you can ask for.
5 Chicken Gassi with Neer Dosa ā Dish looks simple from the presentation but the real catch is the taste of gravy prepared with coconut. Taste of gravy is smooth and not so spicy not so sweet. The way it has to be along with the juicy chicken pieces a total hit to the taste buds. Accompanied by Neer Dosa is the best combo you can go for.
6 Hazelnut Pistachio Baklava ā Well Iām a lover of Middle Eastern cuisines and seeing the baklava in the dessert page made me crave for it and went for it. Though I have tried Baklava at Bayroute which I feel needs no introduction here. So at Butterfly high they have given a bit of tweak to the baklava. Thin & flaky pastry stuffed with mousse cake and pistachios inside. One thing was a major let down which was when we tried to dice it was too hard. My recommendation would be that the mousse cake inside should have been a bit smooth and soft then having the baklava would have been an altogether different experience.
Drinks:
1 Pot of Gold ā What if you canāt buy gold pot of gold is here for you at Butterfly High. Whatta a presentation of the cocktailā¦pot had the concoction of vodka, elderflower syrup, fresh cucumber, mint leaves, orange peel and Kingfisher beer placed upside down with the help of a knob. As you keep on sipping from the pot beer bottle keeps it refilling..hahaha I wished that refilling should have never stopped. Cheers to the mixologist for making it silky smooth.
2 Butterfly High ā Cocktails are always seen to be colourful and photogenic to us. This cocktail is no exception with the use of charcoal activated tequila, lime, vanilla & pineapple juice brings out the best of taste. Truly a black beauty to take home.
Ambience ā Be ready to blown away by the amazing eye catching interiors at Butterfly High. Balance of art and nature make this place really stands out from other restaurant. Ambience is soothing and peaceful.

Among the foodie flummery and über-hip eateries in the dining quarter of Mumbaiās buzzing corporate haven BKC, Butterfly High comes as a calming breath of classicism ā and a sweet breath it is, too, if tinged with an extensive dose of Indian Spices. Thereās something so holistic about its welcoming aura, right from the antique wooden door while you enter to the eclectic n colourful ambiance that follows. Itās bright n brimming colors will wow you. The seating is superlative; you could have second thoughts which table to choose. Damn my luck, we plonked our visit that too on a dry day. So the Cocktail freak that I am, surely missed their slurpy, tipsy creations. The menu has some thalis and set meals too which are price conscious. Surely the BKC corporate guns use this spot as a lunch networking zone too. Sadly, the thalis are for lunch only and from Monday to Thursday.
Coming to the core competencies of the review, here are my recommendations:
Mocktails (I wish this was a typographical error) Guns & Roses ā Loved it Kaffir Lime bull ā Slurped it Summer Snow - Okayish Apple passion cooler ā thanda thanda cool cool.
Soup Chettinand nandu rasam ā Itās a YUM YUM all the way. Generous portions of crab meat and the condiments wonāt give you much of a rasam flavour if thatās what stops you from trying it. Slurp it up!
Salad Red quinoa n granny smith apple ā not just healthy but the Chef has surely managed a tangy twist to it. Nibble n enjoy the goodness of being healthy before you feast. The finely cut green apple slices surely speak volumes of the food quality the restaurant is serving.
Small plates Lotus stem chips plum soya sauce ā a nibble-it-on dish. However, I have a strong feeling that the chips arenāt an outcome of real lotus stems. When questioned the server did volunteer to show me the cut pieces but the Chef sent him back stating that, āsince the chips r coated the real flavour n look of the lotus stems are concealedā. Sorry Chef I donāt buy that logic. Also the plum sauce texture was underplayed. However, loved the innovativeness.
Chicken ghee roast ā Itās the āmaar daalaā dish for sure. You can even try the mushroom ghee roast if u r a veggie. For a day, just slurp on the goodness of ghee! Dry mango prawns ā Jumbo prawns, well marinated. However, the dip should have some more added flavour element to it to get the WOW factor for a perfect dish.
Large plates Fish malwani amti with neer dosa and appam ā Masterpieceā¦says it all.
Desserts Marioās discovery ā A curative and creative masterpiece. You will love twiddling with the mushroom styled macaroons topped on white chocolate stems. Not too chocolatey flavour and just the right balance of sweetness. Like I proclaimed, Itās a masterpieceā¦so make sure you leave enough tummy space to feast on it. Baileyās banofie pie ā One first look, itās more like a cheesecake minus the pie shape. But surely the feel and texture is heavenly. Personally not being a banana fan (in any form), this one had just the right banana tinge without overdoing it. A must-try for sure!
