I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that not only offered a convenient location but also provided an incredibly spacious and well-equipped suite for my family. Located right beside a mall, this hotel provided easy access to shopping and entertainment options, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel's prime location next to the mall was truly a blessing. We simply had to go to the 2nd floor and walk right into the mall. The entrance to the mall through the H&M store on the 1st floor was convenient and hassle-free. It was a delightful experience to have numerous shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues right at our doorstep. However, it's worth noting that access to the mall was limited to its open hours.

One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable spaciousness of the suite. With over 100 square meters of space, the two-bedroom suite felt like a home away from home. The kitchen set was a wonderful addition, as it allowed us to prepare meals and snacks at our convenience. The suite was equipped with all the essential kitchen utensils, including a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and even a dispenser. Additionally, the wide selection of cooking utensils and complete ceramic dishes catered to our every need.

The dining area boasted a large table, perfect for family gatherings and meals. We thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast and dinner together in such a cozy setting. The family room was equally impressive, providing ample space for us to relax, chat, and watch movies together. It created a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly enhanced our overall experience.

Considering all the amenities and the sheer size of the suite, it is clear that this hotel is designed with families in mind. The comfortable and spacious accommodations make it an ideal choice for families seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a convenient and comfortable stay. The prime location, with the mall right next door, ensures easy access to various amenities. This prestigious serviced apartment/ aparthotel is located inside Ciputra World 1 and has direct access to Lotte Shopping Avenue. Reaching the lobby is not difficult but online taxis may have difficulty in navigating.

Using the welcome discount coupon from Ascott Star Rewards, I was able to secure a deluxe room for 1700k without breakfast. Checking in went smoothly, and I got a room on the 25th floor as requested at 2511. I got a view of the Mega Kuningan area facing the Oakwood and its surroundings.

The deluxe room was big, bigger than I had expected or from what I saw from the pictures. The living room had a comfortable, two-seater sofa, a HD cable television, a small round table, and a small round chair. There was a dining table with two chairs. The kitchen was quite complete with an induction stove, microwave, a sink, rice cooker, electric kettle, pans, a probably working dishwasher, and other standard utensils. Sadly, no scissors.

On to the bedroom. The king-sized bed was so soft with 4+1 pillows. Probably one of the best beds I have ever tried. There was also a big sliding cupboard with bathrobes and a clothing iron inside. A TV inside the bedroom would be perfect. The view from the bedroom was also astonishing.

The bathroom comes with a bathtub, no city view though. Standard amenities were available, although the toothpaste was sadly something you would find from a 3 star hotel. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner were an entirely different story, however.

The room also had a washing machine which works fine aside from a leaking problem from the waste water output.

In conclusion, staying in Ascott Kuningan is a wonderful experience and I would love to...

I wish I could give the property a 5-star rating for the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. Everyone has been incredibly nice and always did their best to make our stay enjoyable. However, there are certain things about the property which make it impossible to give it more than 3 stars. Everything seems a bit outdated. Which generally isn’t a problem, but it becomes a problem when it appears to be not well maintained which is clearly the case at Ascott Kuningan. Our iron did not work, it took 30 minutes and calling the guest service twice to finally get a new one ( not convenient in the morning when you have to get ready for work) The washing machine did not work, it always displayed an error code. The toaster does not switch off no matter to what time you set it, a potential fire hazard. On one day, we were surprised when we came back to our room at 5pm and it had still been not made up ( the green light for please make up room was on from 11am). Overall, the property and especially the appliances seems to be in lack of maintenance. We’ve stayed here previously and had a similar experience, but wanted to give them one last chance this time. Unfortunately, it is definitely not what you expect...
