Lotte Mall — Attraction in Jakarta

We were back here yesterday after not visiting here for some time, it was great to be reacquainted with this shopping center. The main thing that I like about this shopping center is that its size is just right. Unlike Grand Indonesia which is so large that it's impossible to see everything in one visit, we are usually able to visit all the shops by the time our visit is over. Good selection of restaurants on upper floors and also options available on LG level. It was an OK selection of shopping options. Plenty coffee shops around. I like it here as it's a more quiet mall option in Jakarta. I like strolling around in Lotte Shopping Avenue. Because it has a different concept from other mall in Jakarta. So the Department Store is all along the way the mall. There's no spesific Department store like Metro or Sogo or any else. When you enter the mall, you will directly enter the dept. store, except for certain brand like H&M, Uniqlo, Electronic, Sports, Restaurants, and Medicals. There are so many brand in here, cafes and restos. The neigbourhood is save. Surrounded by office buildings, and apartments. There's also supermarket downstairs, Food hal with the Resto Ninety Nine. This mall has a large atrium, sometimes they use for discount branded. The money changer on the ground floor near the supermarket is stupidly picky about condition of bills you want to exchange, and the money changer on the 4th floor will nickel-and-dime you about bill condition to short-change you... plus both demand your passport before exchanging. Enjoy the stores and restaurants of this beautiful mall, but forget these money changers - better to go to Mata Uang money changer on the ground floor of FX Mall (located across from the baseball fields on Jalan Sudirman...
