Exceptional Service at the Port of Amalfi – A True Maritime Masterclass
If you’re sailing along the Amalfi Coast and looking for a safe, reliable, and highly professional port experience, look no further than Amalfi Port – and more specifically, the outstanding services of Giulio Coppola.
From the moment we approached, Giulio was already in action. He came out directly to meet our boat, expertly guiding us into position with an impressive level of precision that you rarely find nowadays. The manoeuvre was flawless — like watching a seasoned maestro at work. He didn’t just assist; he took control with calm, confident authority and made a potentially tricky mooring look effortless.
This kind of hands-on, on-the-water service is increasingly rare. Giulio’s approach isn’t just helpful — it’s absolutely first-class. He clearly knows every current, wind shift and centimetre of that port like the back of his hand. It’s no exaggeration to say this is someone who’s spent a lifetime mastering the sea.
Beyond his technical skill, Giulio is also courteous, responsive, and fully focused on making sure your experience in Amalfi begins with the kind of welcome you’d expect from a top-tier marina. It’s the kind of service that makes a difference — especially when arriving in a tight, often busy port.
To sum it up: ✅ Incredible docking precision ✅ Hands-on assistance right from your arrival ✅ True professionalism and local expertise ✅ One of the best mooring experiences we’ve ever had
Highly recommended for anyone arriving by sea in Amalfi. Thank you, Giulio – you set...

Ferry service would be much faster but then you won't be able to enjoy other small beautiful towns along the way from Sorrento to here, like Positano. We were here during start of the tourist season, 1st week of April even then the town was very crowded, lots of people. Can't even imagine what would be the scene during peak of the season in...
Read moreI had a very frustrating experience. The place was overcrowded, and the staff clearly couldn’t manage the crowd. We had to wait for a long time, and to make matters worse, there was no designated waiting area, leaving us standing in a cramped, uncomfortable space.
The staff was rude and unhelpful, offering no instructions or updates, so we had no idea where to wait or how long it would take. The overall environment felt dirty and disorganized, adding to the unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place based...
