We were recomended this restaurant on our visit to Amalfi. We where seated promptly on a table for six. The place is run by the family and was clean and typical of the area. The waiter/manager running the place took care of us. He gave us the chef special menu, and a second menu which we had to use internet to read the QRC. It felt like this is done strategicly for those who don't have internet can not order from a menu with more variety and better prices. So it took us some time to get through the second menu as only two people in the group had internet. The waiter/manager was very impacient and rushed us to give him our order, not very professional. The food was not all served at the same time and the aperitif was served at the same time of the main curse, the food was good and portions were suficiente. At the time of paying the bill came in all together, we asking previous before ordering for separate checks. That's when the confusion started, charging twice for food that was already paid. The manager became very loud and desperate. Is unfortunate that this individual is running this place like this, not fair for the rest of the other employees. Most of the people sitting in the restaurant were shocked at this guy's attitude. We witnessed a couple coming in he denied to service them, he stated no reservations no service. After we left we had to pass by the front of the restaurant to leave the place. This individual was outside, insulting one of us in the process. I do NOT recomend this...

I can’t believe I forgot to review this place - the service we received a few weeks ago was horrible! My friends and I came here whilst on holiday and we had a booking for 20% off. The waiter, Christian, recommended the restaurant to us. I initially found him weird because he was asking personal questions like where exactly we were from. When I found a piece of hair entwirled into my spaghetti, my friend bought it to his attention and he was about to take it back when he stopped before entering the restaurant and yelled at me from across the restaurant. He used an extremely condescending tone and said it was clearly my hair. He kept calling me darling and said “it’s your hair”. He picked it out WITH his fingers and when I said “ok..?” he put it back onto the table. He came later asking how the food was and when my friend confronted him about his tone he got really defensive and didn’t apologise at first. He justified him yelling at me by saying something along the lines of “it’s a quiet corner nobody is passing by”. Excuse me? Just because your restaurant is tucked away and there’s not much people passing by doesn’t mean you can yell at people dining. We didn’t even end up getting 20% off - Christian lied about the validity of our booking. The food was substandard for its price and he got one of my friends order wrong. It was a terrible dining experience - go...

We just left Amalfi and had lunch at this establishment. Made a reservation through The Fork. When arrived, we sat quickly. Waiter came over and took our beverage order and a couple of minutes later the owner took our food order. While waiting for our food, we noticed the table behind us arguing with the owner about their bill. Our food came in a reasonable amount of time. Then the table next to us also were questioning their bill. From what I can tell they were charged more for the food they ordered. I can say that the food was great. Chicken Marsala was good as well as the sea bass. When our bill came the price for the sea bass was 7 euros more. We questioned the bill with the owner who said that the full sea bass was $25 and the sea bass fillet $18, but there was only sea bass on the menu and it was priced at $18. I pulled out my phone and showed him the menu price, he tried to argue with me about it but in the end he fixed the bill. BUT there was an additional 6 euros on the bill entitled “coperto” which means covered. So a fee for 2 people to sit. Since he changed the charge for the sea bass we did paid the 6 euros covered charge. Seems the owner is a bit shady. No other restaurant that we ate at had...

If I could give 0 stars to this place, I would. The server was rude since the beginning, and the prices were not as accurate as displayed in the entrance. The menu of the pizza they gave us didn’t show the prices, so we asked how much was a margherita pizza. The waiter told us it was 10€. After we saw the bill, we saw that the they priced us 18€ for a MARGHERITA pizza, the most simple one. We complained and they tried to fool us, by being rude, screaming and saying “the prices start at 7€, a napolitana pizza without cheese is 7€ and if you want to add more then it goes up”, but c’mon, 11€ for adding cheese???!! They refused to change the bill and after we complained and complained, they finally agreed, but not without being rude and screaming at us. We felt really sad because we had the feeling, just because we were a group of 6 girls, they thought we were going to be stupid and not realize that they were going to charge us 16€ more (2 pizzas for 36€ instead of 20€). I really recommend tourists to look up for friendlier and more honest restaurants.
