A Stracciatella Dream Revisited.
Many years ago, we had our first stracciatella gelato here. On discovery, we made the climb every day, sometimes a couple of times a day, to get another.
This stracciatella is perfectly fluffy with a milky-cream flavor with just a tease of vanilla, and just enough crispy chocolate flakes in it.
Since then we've put on 10 pounds trying to repeat the experience with no luck. A rough guess would be 100 tried in 50 different places, with nothing even close. Until you've tried THIS stracciatella, its just another flavor...
So with some credibility, we can say this may be the best gelato stracciatella in in the world.

I ordered a Grande gelato with 3 flavors, and what I received was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen in my years of living in Italy - barely a single scoop, as shown in the photo. She used only the tip of the spatula, making no effort at all.
To make things worse, I was also overcharged without notice, and only realized it later when checking my bank account.
We also got the granita, which tasted overwhelmingly artificial. The menta (mint) flavor, in particular, was a shockingly bright green.

The two ladies who served us where laughing at us because of our accent while ordering, and did not tried to communicated to help. But the worst was certainly the rude woman who cashed us in. She wanted things to go fast, i had to pay without any word (not even a hi neither bye). I struggled to find the spot where contactless would work while she didn't helped me at ALL, just staring.
