Pros: The location is fantastic—very central and convenient for going out and exploring the city, with easy access to return for a quick rest. The bed is large and extremely comfortable. While the TV is on the smaller side, having one is a plus. The complimentary breakfast is quite decent, featuring croissants, coffee, boiled eggs, and more. The breakfast also includes filtered water, which is nice. The cleaning staff and breakfast team were very friendly and accommodating. The view was absolutely gorgeous for a very good price.
Cons: The noise level is remarkably high. The only quiet hours are from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. After 6 a.m., construction noise begins, restaurants start their preparations, and conversations can be heard. Until midnight, the sounds of shouting, talking, coughing, and live singing from nearby venues can be intrusive. I used earplugs, but they offered no relief. The windows do not seal properly, which contributes to both the noise and heat. The large electric window, when closed, doesn’t fully seal, making it feel like the outside chaos is happening right inside the room, which is incredibly frustrating. The rooms can get excessively hot (we visited in mid-October), and the only way to cool down is to open the window, which allows bugs to enter. While you can request the AC to be turned on at the front desk, it’s inconvenient to do this multiple times a day. Unfortunately, we found dead bugs on the floors and live ones buzzing around inside. The hotel is in an older building, which has some unusual odors, and there’s no real lobby area to speak of. Additionally, the elevator is quite slow. The keycard system controls all electricity in the room, meaning you can’t leave your phone charging when you're not there. The keycard must be plugged into the wall to provide power, and all power shuts off when you take the card with you. The Wi-Fi connection was poor in our room, disconnecting every few seconds unless we were right by the door. We had to move a chair next to the door to get a reliable signal, as there was almost no service from the bed.
Overall, I likely wouldn’t stay here again due to the noise, as I require a quiet environment to sleep. It’s possible that our room’s windows simply didn’t seal properly. However, given the lower price point, it’s a case of getting what you pay for. While it wasn’t a terrible experience, the main issues were the late-night and early-morning LOUD noise, as well as the unreliable Wi-Fi...
