Pros: The location is fantastic—very central and convenient for going out and exploring the city, with easy access to return for a quick rest. The bed is large and extremely comfortable. While the TV is on the smaller side, having one is a plus. The complimentary breakfast is quite decent, featuring croissants, coffee, boiled eggs, and more. The breakfast also includes filtered water, which is nice. The cleaning staff and breakfast team were very friendly and accommodating. The view was absolutely gorgeous for a very good price.

Cons: The noise level is remarkably high. The only quiet hours are from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. After 6 a.m., construction noise begins, restaurants start their preparations, and conversations can be heard. Until midnight, the sounds of shouting, talking, coughing, and live singing from nearby venues can be intrusive. I used earplugs, but they offered no relief. The windows do not seal properly, which contributes to both the noise and heat. The large electric window, when closed, doesn’t fully seal, making it feel like the outside chaos is happening right inside the room, which is incredibly frustrating. The rooms can get excessively hot (we visited in mid-October), and the only way to cool down is to open the window, which allows bugs to enter. While you can request the AC to be turned on at the front desk, it’s inconvenient to do this multiple times a day. Unfortunately, we found dead bugs on the floors and live ones buzzing around inside. The hotel is in an older building, which has some unusual odors, and there’s no real lobby area to speak of. Additionally, the elevator is quite slow. The keycard system controls all electricity in the room, meaning you can’t leave your phone charging when you're not there. The keycard must be plugged into the wall to provide power, and all power shuts off when you take the card with you. The Wi-Fi connection was poor in our room, disconnecting every few seconds unless we were right by the door. We had to move a chair next to the door to get a reliable signal, as there was almost no service from the bed.

Overall, I likely wouldn’t stay here again due to the noise, as I require a quiet environment to sleep. It’s possible that our room’s windows simply didn’t seal properly. However, given the lower price point, it’s a case of getting what you pay for. While it wasn’t a terrible experience, the main issues were the late-night and early-morning LOUD noise, as well as the unreliable Wi-Fi...

There are good and bad points for this hotel.|It could be a lot better. |Would we stay again?? No. |We stayed in a deluxe room 403, on the 4th floor facing the lake.||Firstly the good: |The location is ideal and the water taxi is only 2 minutes walk away.|The staff are all very polite and helpful.|The rooms are clean.||And the not so good:|Breakfast is adequate but lacks any variation. |There are cobbled steps up to the hotel, so you have to carry your own bags up them. Not sure how an elderly or disabled person would get there.|The deluxe room was incredibly small. Impossible to pass someone at the bottom of the bed.|Very little drawer space in the room and only a few coat hangers.|Morning water temperature in the shower was warm at best. It was OK in the evenings. Same for our friends in the room next door.|Nowhere to get any drinks in the hotel during the day, apart from water.|Electricity went off twice during the stay. Once it was the whole street ( we were told in advance) and once it was without notice. So no aircon or lights.|Hairdryer cut out after a minutes use. It had to cool for 5 minutes before it worked again.|There are no ironing boards or irons in the rooms. You have to collect them from reception and return after use. |There was a lot of building work going on at the adjacent hotel, and we were woken up on most days by noisy workers using hammer drills.|For a deluxe room I would have expected bath robes and...

We have just spent a fabulous celebratory stay in this fantastic, family run hotel. Its perfect location in the heart of Bellagio village, authentic Italian structure/building, awesome, attentive, professional service from all staff, impeccably clean, quiet room with comfortable beds, delicious, varied breakfast with out of this world croissants, fixed to order cappuccinos, espresso, the punctual taxi with friendly driver bringing our suitcases down 38 steps booked for us by the concierge Alejandro, letting us to be checked in earlier upon arrival and other things truly make this hotel so unique, welcoming, accommodating, and outstanding. And what was the most important during our visit, in our room we found a handwritten birthday greeting for my mom's 70th birthday and a bottle of champagne from the Leoni family.... It was such an unexpected, thoughtful and caring surprise for my mom, us celebrating her bday in Bellagio, remembering it forever. Thank you so very much for making our visit at your beautiful hotel so wonderful, memorable and delightful! We highly recommend this Bellagio gem hotel to all other travelers &...

Wonderful stay at the Hotel Bellagio. The view from our room was amazing! Definitely worth working a room with a view. The hotel is up 30 steps in a small alley, but we just called when we arrived and Kiko (the owner's son) came right down to help us carry our luggage up. Everyone in Bellagio speaks very good English since Americans are the #1 tourist to the town. We were very appreciative of the complimentary bottle of wine the hotel placed in our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Dinner at the waterfront at the sister hotel was nice. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel - a nice spread with cappuccino included. Everyone was very nice and friendly. We would have loved to stay longer than one night. I cannot stress enough how gorgeous Lake Como and the Alps are here.

We had the best stay and service here! You can’t beat the location. It is right by the ferry and lots of stores. Our view was unbeatable, especially at the price. Breakfast was delicious and had a full espresso bar, croissants, fresh fruit, and lots of other good things. The shower pressure was also good and very hot. If you’re interested, the gym is small but has everything you need and you can sit on the sun deck or the patio whenever you’d like. We booked a room 401 which was a panoramic room with a side window. We’d recommend this room since it has the extra window for better ventilation since the air conditioning isn’t very strong. Construction is a little noisy next-door, but if you close the windows it’s fine. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Hotel Bellagio in May 2025, and it was absolutely unforgettable. Our room on the 4th floor had a stunning view—waking up to Lake Como and the Alps felt like a dream. The light over the water in the morning, the peaceful atmosphere, and the charm of Bellagio itself made every cent worth it. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Bellagio, just a short walk from the ferry and the town’s lovely shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and good advice. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which had everything we needed to start the day well. Highly recommended if you're looking for the full Como experience—the view alone is worth the trip!
