Amazing views and setting. We had a lovely time just walking around the park. Lots of seating areas to relax in, great choice between sunny areas and shaded areas. Lovely plants. Heard the sound of birds in the trees and saw lots of lizards running around. The water smells mineralic, not of chlorine (like UK pools). The thermal water was so relaxing. My favourites were the kneipp pools (40c / 15c ), the 38c pool with waterfall to massage your neck and the japanese bath for feet+legs (40c/15c water that you walked through with pebbles beneath).
Great toilet, shower and changing room facilities. The lockers are now included with your wristband. One per person.
Ignore the bad comments! I'm sorry but this is basically people who didn't notice the clearly communicated policies on website and media, who then decide to be petty and trash the place.
The swim cap policy - Bring a swim cap / cap if you have hair. It's best for us all. It means there isn't any hair floating in the pools! If, like my husband, you shave your head right to scalp or are bald, staff won't ask you to wear a swim cap.
The kids policy is clearly stated on their website- It seems fine for most families I saw visiting, they were happy to use the beach and 3 kids accessible swimming pools. I don't think it's wise to have kids accessing the thermal park itself anyway when some of the steams running along the paths in the thermal bath park are be 90'c in temperature! I wouldn't be able to relax if I had to stop my child trying to paddle their feet in...
Read moreSuperb public baths. Was definitely expecting this place to be more chaotic, less elegant, and more like a water park. Instead it has lush extensive gardens and a diverse array of pools and water features with temperatures ranging from excellently hot to gratifyingly cold. My favorite feature was the Ludwig baths, which offer particularly hot and cold baths alongside each other with a strong aroma of amalfi lemon. The natural cave hammam is also extraordinary, as are the waterfall thrones. The cafeteria is not bad at all, the complex prohibits smoking (thank you!!), and there are a couple potable water fountains...
