Trajik Şairin Evi. Bir atriyum* evinin geleneksel şeklini koruyan ev, ana girişte bulunan ve artık camla korunan CAVE CANEM ("köpeğe dikkat") yazan mozaikle ünlüdür. Peristylium'a* doğrudan giden bir yan girişten erişilir. Atrium ve tablinum, oyun için hazırlanan aktörlerin sahnesinin de bulunduğu ve eve adını veren güzel mozaiklere sahipti. Oturma odasının dekorasyonuna özel bir özen gösterildi: İlyada'dan bölümler içeren büyük mitolojik resimlerden, hala görülebilen, Theseus tarafından terk edilmiş Ariadne'nin, 19. yüzyılın başlarında ev kazıldıktan sonra popüler bir tema olan "Aşk Tanrısı Satışı"nın karşısındaki duvardaki resmidir. Peristylium'da küçük bir aedicula görülebilir. Bu, hemen hemen tüm evlerde bulunan ve Lares'e ve ailenin diğer koruyucu tanrılarına tapınmaya adanmış lararium'dur*. Lo que más me motivó a visitarla fue la famosa referencia a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo, en la que aparece el icónico mosaico del perro con la frase "Cave Canem". Fue emocionante ver en persona este detalle que conecta la historia real con la cultura pop. Sin duda, una visita que vale mucho la pena para los fans de la serie y para quienes disfrutan de los vestigios del pasado.

Przy wejściu mozaika na podłodze przedstawia psa i napis "Cave Canem" - jest osłonięta obudową zabezpieczającą. Część malowideł i mozaik z tego miejsca została przeniesiona do Muzeum Archeologicznego w Neapolu gdzie można je obejrzeć. Dom wyposażony był w duży dziedziniec ogrodowy. Bardzo ciekawy spory dom, który warto odwiedzić.
