The Chiesa di San Giorgio Church in Portofino, Metropolitan City of Genoa, Italy, is open to the public and visitors to go inside. Entrance is generally free. There might be a fee for special events or exhibitions. To reach the church from Portofino’s harbor requires climbing 185 steps; therefore, check for events beforehand. From its hilltop position, the church provides stunning views across Portofino and the harbor. This church sits halfway up the hill leading to Castello Brown. Inside, you can admire frescoes and religious artifacts, and experience the peaceful atmosphere. The church is typically open from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm daily. Holy Mass is held on Saturdays at 6:00 pm and Sundays at 10:30 am...

Alla discesa, di nuovo, STATE BENE ATTACCATI ALL'APPOGGIATOIO E NON ABBANDONATELO NEMMENO UN ISTANTE.

Best regards. Éric Tison F-57 Féy (Metz....

1 day itinerary/things to do in Portofino🇮🇹 which I got to experience during my stay at the amazing @grandhotelbristol that provides a private transfer and is located only 20 mins by car from Portofino:
☕️Start your day at Piazza Martiri dell’Olivetta: Begin your day at the central square, admire the colorful buildings and grab a coffee at Bar Mariuccia while soaking in the ambiance and people-watching 🥐 Try a croissant at Calata 32, one of the best I’ve had in a long time! they also have gelato😋 👙Visit Baia Cannone: a small beach located just a few mins away from the piazza. Relax on the pristine shores, soak up the sun, and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters 🛥️Explore the Portofino Harbor: take a leisurely stroll along the promenade, enjoying the picturesque views and admiring the boats 🏰Discover Castello Brown: Climb up to a historic castle perched on a hilltop. Entrance fee is €5 and you can enjoy the best panoramic views of Portofino, the harbor, and explore the castle’s gardens ⛪️Visit the Church of San Giorgio: From the church’s viewpoint, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of Portofino and the church is really lovely as well 👣Explore the narrow alleys: Take some time to wander through the streets of Portofino, appreciating the charming architecture, quaint shops, and local boutiques
