I can not say enough positive things about this restaurant! We were celebrating a friend's 40th birthday and planned to decorate prior. The owner and staff were more than helpful by helping us plan and hang decorations! The owner even got a cake AND picked out candles special for the occasion! He went above and beyond before we even arrived! The food was delicious! We all ordered different things and EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS SCRUMPTIOUS! We all agreed the truffle pasta made at your table in a giant cheese wheel was #1. We even ordered another plate to share! We shared a few bottles of white wine which was also fantastic! The staff was amazing all night! We stayed late and they began playing music and letting us dance in the restaurant! The were extremely accommodating to us! Although I loved the tiramisu, The icing on the cake was surly the little squares of chocolate ice cream handed out at the end… Nestled in the corner and just out of the limelight past all the beautiful parked up yachts we dined at our round table like kings and queens right at the waters edge. The fresh oysters needed nothing only to let some Fiano white wine from Calabria flow - the black truffle linguine served from a large basin of melted cheese and black pepper was to die for and the freshly caught simple sea bass served with potatoes tomatoes and olives left us speechless, silent and content, and all the while the lights around the surrounding hillsides sparkled like VanGogh masterpiece of the night sky I knew then San Giorgio of Portofino had quietly...

We had a reservation and they put us at a table by the water. The view was amazing. Our experience started out nice, but turned bad as soon as we ordered wine by the glass rather than a bottle. The wine by the glass was not good. The food had very little flavor. When they picked up our plates they said they would bring dessert and never did. We also would have ordered limoncello but they never came back. 45 minutes later we had to flag someone down to bring us our check. We noticed a lot of attention being given to customers that appeared very affluent.
