Portofino’nun kalbinde adeta saklı bir mücevher gibi duran Terrazza San Giorgio, hem manzarası hem de sunduğu huzurla büyüleyici bir yer. Buraya ulaştığınızda karşılaşacağınız tablo gibi Portofino Körfezi manzarası, tüm yorgunluğunuzu unutturuyor. Terrazza San Giorgio, özellikle fotoğraf çekmeyi sevenler ve romantik bir atmosferde vakit geçirmek isteyenler için mükemmel bir durak.

Portofino’daki dar ve tarihi sokaklardan geçerek ulaşılan bu teras, San Giorgio Kilisesi’nin hemen yanında bulunuyor. Teras kısmı hem denize hem de kasabanın ikonik renkli evlerine tepeden bakma imkânı sunuyor. Buradan Castello Brown’un görkemli yapısını da rahatlıkla görebilirsiniz. Sessizliği, kuş sesleri ve rüzgarın hafif uğultusuyla birleşince insanın içini ferahlatan bir atmosfer oluşuyor.

Sabah erken saatlerde gelindiğinde ortam oldukça sakin, meditasyon yapmak ya da sadece manzaranın tadını çıkarmak için birebir. Gün batımı saatlerinde ise teras, altın renkli güneş ışıklarının Portofino kıyılarına vurmasıyla adeta büyüleyici bir tabloya dönüşüyor. Dilerseniz çevredeki banklarda oturabilir, tarihi kiliseyi ziyaret ettikten sonra kısa bir mola verebilirsiniz.
