Nuovo Mondo — Restaurant in Rome

This was around the corner from our Airbnb and we got take away a few times during our stay. The sausage and chicory pizza is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!! So is the chicory side dish, we also got the melanzane pizza, Margherita, capricciosa as well. English is not spoken fluently but in a world of Google Translate don’t let that stop you!! The staff are friendly and ready to help but they get EXTREMELY busy so pick earlier times to come here if you need additional help with ordering etc. We found going around 6:30pm the best time to order and get food in a reasonable amount of time. This is one of the restaurants where you can find many typical Italian dishes, especially from Roma region. Their suggestions from the menu and tastes of the foods can be accepted with no disappointment. I ate Pizza with Tuna and red onion, and it was very delicious👌👌👌. My wife took some salad, potato croquettes and fritto mix vegitale including the fried parts of Artichoke (typical in Roma).👌👍 The restaurant is always full with local and Italian people. Best pizza I ate in Italy so far! The waiter was incredibly nice even though it was busy (a nice change from the usual grumpy impatient service I had grown accustomed to in Italy). The pizzas have a super thin crust! I recommend the tried and true classic mozzarella with margherita base, but really, you can't go wrong with any choice here.

The appetizers are also nice, but my favorite is the fried cod fish (Filetto di baccalà), served with lemon. Tried it in several places but here was best! Haven't tried the pasta but from what I could see and smell I'm guessing...
