Abbiamo deciso di aggiungere 2€ al prezzo del biglietto per entrare in duomo e visitare anche il museo del palazzo arcivescovile accanto. Molto bello, ci sono varie sale, comprese le vecchie prigioni e una piccola biblioteca interamente in legno, bellissima. Il tutto accessibile col passeggino a parte qualche gradino agli ingressi. Non ci sono servizi igienici.

To be honest, this has the feel of a small-town history museum in the States — objects of interest to Santa Lucia devotees displayed with somewhat amateur enthusiasm. Might have gotten more out of it if there were any labels in English! That said, I would still recommend visiting for the chance to see the (Gothic? Norman?) vaulting where you enter and the paneled bishop’s library. It’s also a fun thing to do when you are visiting the lively Piazza del Duomo after dark, because it’s open quite late (at least...
