We waited for our order to be taken more than 20 minutes. We went upstairs (they saw us when we went upstairs and confirmed it's ok to go there) and we were alone, no one else was upstairs (outside there were about half of the tables occupied, so they were not that busy). When the waiter finally came, he asked how many people we are (my husband was at the restroom), I told him we are 2 persons and he moved one of the two tables that were united at our arrival. We chose that table to be able to sit both of us on the couch. They had some small chairs, like stool, so without backrests. I asked if we can sit both on the couch and he said no, because it means we would occupy two tables and, in case more persons would come, they would not have a place to stay. They have 8-10 tables upstairs and no one else was there. I told him that there is no one else, it's empty and he insisted that he cannot allow us to stay as we wanted.... And he left without taking the order... he said he will come back, although we already knew what we wanted to order... So, we left the restaurant although we were really hungry. He was way too rude and inspired no trust. I gave 3 stars for the food because it seems I have to choose a numer of stars for...

this is a fast turnover restaurant. order, eat, get out. the young servers don't care about you. just pump in as many tourists as you can find and reset the table. food isn't too bad but if you're looking a nice dining experience avoid this place.

if you order the main fried seafood platter you should be fine but if you deviate from this maybe you'll have a bad experience like we did. wife and I ordered the lobster and burgers for the kids. we got served and the kids got theirs after we finished ours. they don't care. they said food comes when it comes. fair enough

wanted to pay and you're expected to know that you have to go inside to the cashier. when I went in, the staff were all fighting with one another, so myself and another customer just stood there awkwardly while trying to pay. it took 10 mins to pay our bill.

they look stacked every night so it's no surprise they don't care about their customer experience. we've eaten in some lovely places in ortigia so if you want a nice dining experience I'd suggest somewhere else. if you just want to fill you belly this is the place for you. it's the equivalent of a kebab place with really...

Andiamo per punti che forse è meglio: Normalmente quando si parla di Aperi* si da per scontato che sia incluso il bere, cosa che qui non dovete considerare e che sarà a parte. Su IG viene sponsorizzato l'aperispecial a 17.90€ con coperto e cocktail incluso, (è in determinate fasce orarie per cui probabilmente strategia di marketing), per il resto i prezzi nel menù sono a persona e partono dai 20€ con un tagliere da dividere. I taglieri, partono da 2 persone e oggettivamente sono abbondanti, potenzialmente anche per 3 persone potrebbero bastare, ma va detto, che sotto lo strato, onesto, di fritturina di pesce (Abbiamo preso Aperifish e Aperifish spiedo), c'è un letto abbondante di patate, che ovviamente sono la cosa più economica per poter "riempire", il che magari considerando che a questo punto si parla di 40 euro a coppia di solo tagliere, fa un po' storcere il naso. -Cibo, allora non mi soffermo sul discorso congelato/fresco, perchè lo trovo ridicolo, perchè alcune cose inevitabilmente devono essere surgelate. Ma a prescindere da questo che è di poco conto sinceramente, in generale le fritture sono buone, anche l'olio usato per la frittura non era "vecchio", in generale non si può dire nulla per la frittura, unica cosa che ci ha lasciato perplessi sono state le cozze di messina, che sinceramente erano tutte raggrinzite e minuscole, oltre a non essere state pulite proprio bene. Ma può succedere, ci mancherebbe altro, bisogna anche comprendere che sulle grandi quantità qualcosa può sempre scappare. -Servizio, nemmeno ci eravamo seduti che il ragazzo arriva per l'ordine in pompa magna esordendo con un "vi consiglio l'aperiufo", ora, per carità nulla per il consiglio, ma di norma, sono io a chiedere magari un consiglio dopo aver visto il menù. Ad ogni modo chiediamo di farci guardare almeno il menù. Ovviamente la cosa proposta è tra le più costose, ma ci sta attenzione, sicuramente è anche quella più completa, dato che effettivamente ha davvero tanta roba (anche troppa forse), semplicemente magari sarebbe stato il caso di farci guardare il menù poi in fase di ordine si proponeva. Ma anche il modo con cui è stato propost, sinceramente è stato abbastanza fastidioso.I tavoli interni (non so quelli esterni), sono davvero piccoli infatti già con due taglieri si stava strettissimi, ottima l'idea di mettere la salvietta profumata. In definitiva se analizziamo il luogo i prezzi ci possono anche stare, la qualità del cibo è buona sicuramente è più un posto turistico in cui per un aperi qualsiasi cosa almeno 35-40 euro a persona li spendi, se ovviamente il tutto fosse lontano da ortigia sarebbe un prezzo folle, almeno per gli standard siciliani, ma essendo li, ti devi "adattare" al luogo, sicuramente per un'esperienza ci può stare, ma sinceramente non credo che andrei una seconda volta, soprattutto conoscendo standard e...
