Outstanding solo art project by Christoph Buechel "Monte di Pietà" spread over several floors and the inner courtyard of Fondazione Prada as part of Venice's 60th Biennale. The logistics must have been challenging, bringing together priceless paintings from Florence's Uffizi, as the portrait of Catarina Corner (who was born here) mixed together with endless rules full of junk, guns, lab-grown diamonds, a ton of weight of ancient ledgers on loan from Naples' Monte di Pietà, crypto miner, broken freezers, etc. The details are amazing, as the exhibitions extra designed Prada logo shaped "Queen of pawn" label, referring to a fictitious bankrupt pawnshop as shown here.
