Iam not promising to much if i say this place is a real hidden gem in Venice. In the normaly so crowded city this lovely restaurant is located in a small, inconspicuous street not to far away from Ponte di Rialto but still far away from all the busy tourism noises.
With its beautiful interior which is classic but has a touch of rustic aswell Regina Sconta welcomes you with open hands. Andrea greets you with a smile and is happy to help and recommend the specials of the day, which we didnt try but i urge you to do so. The kitchen prepares classic flavor combinations which small but interesting nuances. The menu changes depending on seasonality but even more based on what they can get from the local market. In our case the menu changed 3 times in 6 days, which shows the drive to only provide the freshest and best produce available. The menu is held small to ensure the quality of each prepared dish, but still big enough to have a wide range of different aromatic experiences. We visited 2times while in venice and each course was stunning both visually and in terms of taste. The interpretation of a vitello tonnato, served as a carpaccio with truffle and cream of parsley - delicous. Same goes for the fried, porcini&prawn stuffed zuchini blossoms although the batter could have been a bit thiner, to not overpower the taste of the gorgeous filling.
No difference for the main courses, doenst matter if beef,fish or pasta each one was prepared with care and also the donneness of the Red Snapper was spot on, maybe the the meat was slightly under medium or medium rare respectively but that should be no complaint. Tiramisu was one of the best i have ever eaten so i will let that speak for itself.
This restaurant shows how passion and love for a craft can deliver emotions and uplift a dining experience to a new hight.
I urge you to go out of your way and try this...
Read moreI'm writing this review on behalf of my friend Ms. Kim(김영주);
First, in your reply to her review, you didn't explained anything about the 12% tips. Are you charging tips also to each and every your customers?
Second, You argued that it was inevitable to give the 8.65 euros of coins, since you didn't have 5 euro bill. But, the thing is that your 8.65 euro change was made up of ONLY coins of 10 or 20 cents. It didn't have any 1 or 2 euro coins. Do you think this is reasonable? For 8.65 euros, imagine how may coins (10 or 20 cents) you will get!
Instead of reasonable explanation, you blamed my friend as if she was rude and had "pathological" intention to receive a discount. I do NOT agree and I do NOT accept!
This is a "slander". We never asked a discount. Before we receive an embarrassing changes in small coins, I and my friends were in good mood, so we were very much willing to pay tips even though we know tips in Italy is not common. The server was kind, and we enjoyed our dinner. You blamed my friend was rude, it's not true. My friend just gave a single comment on the coins of 10/20 cents, and server brought another lady to us. She just told us that they only have coins, in a not-kind manner. I was angry about your unreasonable explanation about the change, 8.65 euros, made of coins of...

Finding it feels like uncovering a treasure, and from the very moment you step inside, you are embraced by warmth, elegance, and an almost magical sense of welcome.
The dishes are a masterpiece of freshness and flavor. Every ingredient is sourced on the very same day from local fishermen, and you can taste the sea’s honest beauty in every bite. The balance of flavor, the care in presentation, and the purity of each ingredient all speak to a deep respect for tradition — and a true love for food.
But what truly sets Regina Sconta apart is Juergen, the heart and soul of the place. His service is nothing short of extraordinary. With an incredible blend of charisma, professionalism, and genuine kindness, he turns a meal into an experience. There is a rare, disarming warmth in his presence — the kind that makes you feel instantly at home, and somehow a little special.
This is not just a restaurant. It’s a journey, a secret you’ll want to keep and yet can’t help but share. Regina Sconta is worth every step through Venice’s maze —...
