Every Saturday, the outdoor market, Farmer Market, is held here. There are various types of groceries, fruits, vegetables, daily necessities and foods. The market is open every Saturday at 7:00 am. However, the price is a bit more expensive than the local market because there are many foreigners and many tourists in this area. The purchase price is marked on most products, so foreigners can easily identify. Everyone can buy most of the food ingredients such as fresh organic fruits and vegetables, meat and alcohol, and can enjoy simple snacks such as various fruit juices, berry toe, kebabs, hot dogs, dances, panties, Korean food and skewers. It is a great place to take a look at one or two hours on Saturday morning and enjoy various sights and cooking. This farmers' market, held every Saturday, is relatively clean compared to traditional markets and is like a small town festival in the city center.

Jaime C. Velasquez Park in Tordesillas street, Makati, is a well-maintained urban oasis offering a refreshing escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Known for its lush greenery, clean surroundings, and peaceful ambiance, it's a favorite spot for joggers, families, and pet owners. The park hosts a popular weekend market featuring fresh produce, artisanal goods, and delicious food stalls. Its strategic location in Salcedo Village makes it easily accessible, and the community-oriented events add to its charm. Overall, it's a delightful spot for relaxation and leisure in the heart of Makati.

Nice for families! When we went here, there were a lot of stalls that sold different products. There was also a specific side for fresh produce such as vegetables, fruits, seafood, and meat. In response to COVID, they take your temperature at the entrance and give you a green sticker (meaning your temp is good!) The people shopping here are also diverse so definitely a good way to socialize. All in all, I enjoyed my experience! P.S. A lesson I learned is to bring small bills /cash and a fan—since you will definitely sweat!

One of the things I love in a city is its open space like parks. Makati City has so many parks like this and one of it is the Jaime C. Velasquez Park. Every saturday they have the Salcedo Weekend Market which they sell various food, plants, vegetables and seafood. This place is also nice for walking, playground for kids, picnic, or simply sitting on the bench and enjoying the fresh air from the trees.
