Isolation and quarantine’s review: for 19 days of isolation due to work requirement. This place is wonderful. The staff are great. Quick responses to simple requests and managing small troubles. Clean and neat rooms. Be sure to bring small snacks before checking in but if you can’t. The Old Swiss inn restaurant is one call away for room service, their food is quite exquisite, delectable, and fun. A bit pricy but worth the money. Personally the food on quarantine package is a bit on the odd side but hey at-least you have your belly full. The friendly staff are on 24/7 duty at your service. The guards are kind and strict on health protocols. Highly recommended establishment for balikbayans (ofw) and seafarers.

Not as expected from Ascott Brand.. old appartments..poor quality toileteries, no sound proof windows ...road traffic noise is plenty. Adjacent rooms noise is also present. The hotels online pictures and actual presentation is very different..Pillows are not hotel quality...mattress is also not as per hotel standards..curtains are roll up and you will have a headache with just pulling down and raising them again and again. Internet is gr8 thats about the only thing thats good. The breakfast is in a independant restaurant which only serves few choice options and one plate per person no second helpings. There is seven eleven on the ground level which is good.

Even though its quite pricy compared to others, its location is perfect. Right in the middle of Ayala, Makati. Near the main offices, malls and just beside ayala triangle. Commute is easy, near bus lanes and a little walk to the train system. The room is okay, I've tried the room with 3 beds and 2 beds. The one with two is a lot better, looks wider and cleaner. Room has A/C, microwave, ref, tv and electronic kettle. It also has an iron for your clothes (need it most for your formals if you have meetings). Conclusion, its perfect for its location but not for vacation type thingy and budget.

My experiences at Somerset Residences in Makati Manila.||First, the positives. The staff was very friendly and, whenever possible, helpful. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for everything else.||My stay began on December 13, 2023, and lasted until January 7, 2024. The initial impression of the room was normal and somewhat satisfactory. However, the bathroom was a different story – it was damp and did not smell particularly fresh. The first time I used the shower, water leaked from all three possible openings. I reported this, and the maintenance technician replaced a seal in the three-way valve. Although normal showering was possible afterward, the fixing screw on the valve handle was lost. My complaint about the consistently wet bathroom floor was ignored. The scheduled room cleaning on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday did not happen in the first week. Only after a complaint, stating that my bath towel was beginning to mold, did things change.||After the first few nights, I discovered I had roommates in the form of cockroaches and other insects. One of the insects bit me during the night, above my left hip. This prompted me to complain again. A pesticide was sprayed, but it was not very effective as I found cockroaches in the room again. I brought an insect I had killed to the reception. I then arranged for another pesticide action the next day at 8:00 am, which unfortunately happened later. The consequences were drastic and posed a health risk. It did not occur to the management to provide another room during the pesticide phase. The aftermath for me was severe, including burning eyes, burning nasal passages, throat irritation, and bronchial discomfort. Normally, I should have gone to the hospital, but I did not want to spend the New Year in the hospital. The health problem still bothers me today, and I will likely need to see a doctor. During the New Year, I discovered why the bathroom floor was always wet. There was no screw where there should have been one to secure the toilet, causing part of the flushing water to spill out. When I complained, I was told there were no available rooms until the next day. I was given the room directly below the one I complained about, allowing me to see that the toilet in that room was completely leaky. In this room, on the last day, I felt that it was as I had expected all along.||My request for a corresponding voucher as compensation was answered with a complimentary night. This is not a substitute for health risks and a bathroom resembling a cesspool with a cockroach...

First, the location is fine. It's an older building in a very metropolitan area, but overall good. That's about it.||||I booked this hotel based on the pictures, reviews, location, price and accommodation. Unfortunately, with the exception of the price, everything else was dishonest or at best mis-leading. BUYER BEWARE.||||First off, I booked an Executive 1 bedroom. There is absolutely nothing within the unit that is anywhere near like the pictures. I suspect the same may be said about the other rooms as well. The room is old, furniture is SPRASE and WORN, A/C's are loud, kitchen cannot be described as stocked, TV is about as small as you can purchase. In other words, it was a HUGE shock to walk in and know that I had just dropped about the same amount of money as the Pennisula right down the street.||||Lobby picture was misleading...here again, the whole lobby is probably 10sqm, can barely fit anyone, is unorgnized and is as far from a welcoming experience as you can imagine.||||Staff...the reception staff was one of the rudest individuals I have met...which is more unusual given the usual nature of Filipino hospitality. ||||Yes, it served my purpose, gave me a place to sleep...however...it seems abundantly clear that the mgmt is posting all these rave reviews and then responding to them...this place misses on every single level.||||FYI...not a random poster or reviewer...I travel 250+ days a year around the world as an Executive of one of the largest BPO's not only in Manila but worldwide. So I've stayed in my share of hotels, condotels, etc. This place does not deserve the credentials and kudos that appear all over...
