⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent accommodation at Hotel Aile in ♨️Beppu♨️, Japan 🇯🇵! During a recent trip to Kyushu, we planned to stay in Beppu over the weekend and soon discovered that hotel rates tend to be high for stays on Saturday night. Fortunately we found Hotel Aile which was a bit over our usual budget but still good value and a great experience. When we arrived we were surprised by how large the room was compared to other hotels we'd stayed at in Japan 🗾. The room and beds 🛏️ were also comfortable and we had a nice view from the window (a partial seaview and we could also see the yacht club and the mountains). We enjoyed the small shared lounge and the observation bath on the 10th floor and particularly enjoyed the outdoor rotenburo bath on the rooftop which had a great atmosphere and views of the coast and city. A hearty and healthy breakfast was provided in the morning which we really enjoyed. The only issue was an occasional wait of 5-10 minutes for the lift 🛗 but this was not a big problem. The staff were highly professional and many of them could speak multiple languages.

The location is good with nice ocean view and easy access to shopping center, department store and park. The hotel itself is a bit aged, but it is well maintained by a group of young and energetic staffs from many countries. The staffs are very friendly and most of them can speak in fluent English, so communication is definitely not an issue. The breakfast is well-prepared and you may sense the chef has put his heart onto it. One more thing to add is that my son caught a cold and front desk staff was very very helpful in helping us contacting local clinic and explaining the condition to the doctor. Only one thing I would recommend is that as the room is spacious, the hotel may consider to add baby bed as an option upon request so it would be more attractive to family guests who bring their baby traveling. We will stay here again if we are going to travel in Beppu in the future.

I came to Beppu Onsen for the first time in a while. Hotel prices are high because it's the weekend. I found a cheap hotel there. It was a wonderful hotel. There are multiple reasons. One had a bath with a nice view on the top floor. The view was good and the spring quality was good. One is that the room is large. There were two beautiful and big beds, and there was even a sofa. And the really wonderful thing is that the hotel staff are bright and friendly. Inside the elevator, in the guest rooms, in the public bath, there are easy-to-understand directions with cute illustrations and handwritten letters. The words written there are kind, funny, and have a great sense of humor. I felt so good.

Love the size of room and beds but hard pillow that make your neck hurts. Clean room, indoor onsen in the 10th floor. And open air onsen in 11th floor. Good location by the water, big mall and supermarket near by. free parking Hot water maker with the tea packs No water or coffee. Staffs are helpful. I recommend this hotel.

Had a wonderful experience staying with Hotel Aile. All the staffs are so welcoming and friendly. Although the hotels show signs of aging, but it doesn’t affect our stay, the bed is soft and comfy. We especially love the cute drawings that can be found in almost every corner of the hotel. The breakfast is really good too!

一言で言うと、古いけど頑張ってるホテル です。南欧風という言葉に一回泊まってみたいと予約してみました☆確かにホテルの外観とか窓枠とか廊下とか南欧風と言えばそうかも。でも大浴場は泉質は別府だからよいものの、めちゃくちゃ昭和でした。昔流行った展望風呂っての？屋上露天は木小屋的な。露天だから天井はないのだけれど。 施設の古さは否めませんが、スタッフの方々の心のこもった手書きの案内・表示などがあちこちにあり、それを補っているような感じです。 部屋の鍵はスペアも付いたリアル鍵でクルッと回すのにちょいコツが要ります。 部屋からの眺望も海側立地じゃないからなぁ・・・の予想に反して高崎山が拝めてなかなか良かったです。海側は他のホテルが建っているので朝日などは見えませんでした。(季節によっては若干違うかもしれませんが。)部屋もなかなか広かったです。 朝食は言いかえれば「サラダボウル朝食」であまり繊細でない手切りっぽい口当たりの悪いキャベツの千切りを朝からモシャモシャ食べるのは、結構しんどかった。選択肢がなくてこれで1800円!?はどうなんだろう。マフィンも焼き立てではなく、温かいのはスープだけ。コーヒーはポットに入っているものをセルフで持ってくるもので、残念ながらイマイチ。朝食の口コミが良かったので私の期待が大きすぎたようです。。。昨今の物価高で内容が少し変わっているのかもしれません。特に和食党の方はここは選ばない方が良いでしょう。高齢者や小さなお子さんの朝食選択肢はないのかなぁ。でも蘭王卵は濃厚で美味しかったです。 手書きの案内が館内あちこちにあって、つい読んでほっこりするのですが、アンケートまでも手書き絵付きであまりにかわいかったので、思わず書いてしまいました。お手洗いのレバーの方向など”かゆいところに手が届く”的なかわいい手作りメモの親切さがとっても好印象でした。 総合的には、スタッフさんの顔が見えて”おもてなし”の心を感じるなかなか良いホテルでした。設備の古さ等、理解した上で泊まれば「悪くないよね」と感じると思います。がんばってるのが見えるので応援したくなります。 買い出しや買物、お食事はゆめタウンも近いけど道路渡ったトキワデパート地下もオススメです。ローソンもあります。 有名なとよ常もすぐそば。並んでました。
