My wife and I were staying on the 2nd floor, which seems to be Japanese style houses / apartments.
At arrival, I was confused because the door was locked, but we went to the cafe at the end of the building and found the owner there (she operates the cafe too). The owner is very nice, it doesn't seem she speaks much English, but communication is not a problem. And she gave us mandarins when we checked out.
This place is 1 min walk from Mt. Fuji station and there are few restaurants and vending machines nearby. You can rent an electronic bicycle from the outside Fujiyoshida station to stroll around, such as the Honcho stree and Arakura Sengen (we walked from hotel though). It's also possible to ride the e-bike to Kawaguchiko area too since they are not far.
The room was clean and nice. It's spacious, and you can see Mt Fuji from the window. It's a good place to crash, especially when the cost is good. It's located right on the main stret, so expect some noise here and there from car / motorcycle, but come evening, this was much less and certainly didn't bother our rest.
