Paid 50yen to visit the Buddha statue. Was amazed by how huge and amazing the status was. No picture can be taken so too bad cannot share here.

Took them 4 years to carve the statue, really amazed and just spent few min admiring the work. Do watch out for the thousands of small Buddha behind the statue as well.

There is a dark passageway below the statue, went once was surprised so I turned on the light. Then I went again without using any light and just walk based on the handrail to experience the complete darkness. It...

I was in awe at how immense the statue was, not what I was expecting! There's an interesting gallery comprised of 10 or so hellscapes, and a dark passageway under the Buddha. Intriguing experience for only 50 yen,

An interesting experience to visit the buddhist temple in Fukuoka. The huge buddha statue is on the first floor of the building and u cannot tale photo of it. Remember to enter the special path below the buddha experience. Inside has the paintings and explainations of hells and their sufferings. In the last section of the path, u will go through a pitching dark section. It is so dark until u cant even see ur own five fingers. Perhaps this experience is reflecting a world in...
