うま馬 祇園本店 — Restaurant in Fukuoka

Bad experience when I was there. My hotel is right beside this shop. Because if my colleague’s highly recommend, I decided to give it a try. When I steped in the shop, there were 2 empty seats. The waitresses had welcomed me to have a seat. When I started to speak English, the guy who worked in the cooking area suddenly walked towards me and said these two seats are reserved for some others and asked me to leave. I asked if I could reserve a seat as well, and he said you have to wait at least 2 hours. I have to say, we all mature adults, if these seats have been booked, how come both of the waitresses know nothing? It was unbelievably rude. I don't want to guess the reason but if you personally don't like foreigner, then tell us you are a person who has a discrimination problem, otherwise, don't play this stupid game. Also for an izakaya restaurant, to wait for 2 hours for a seat sounds...

博多ラーメンの源流の味を受け継ぐ老舗。 夜は居酒屋としても賑わう王道スタイル。 ラーメンは昔ながらの源流と今風なテイストの濃まるの2系統がある。 やはりここは源流を攻めたいね。 奮発して雲呑麺頼んじゃいましょう。 しばらく待って、お待ちと配される。 透明感のある琥珀色スープは赤のれん、博龍軒と比べても一番クリアな色合いやね。 しかし香りはなかなか。 一口ズズッとやると、旨味のある出汁感にキリリと効いた醤油の味わいがフワァ〜ッと口中に広がり、見た目以上に豚骨らしくコリャ美味い！ 醤油も甘ったるくなくイイ感じやね。 合わさる麺はご存じの平打ち麺。 ノーマルでシコッと歯触り良く、つるりとした滑らかな舌触りながらスープをよく引き揚げる。 控えめな風味でスープの馴染みはバツグン(^^) ワンタンは所謂てるてる坊主形。 餡はしっかり練り込まれているんやろうね。 弾力があって旨味もバッチリ。 皮はチュルンとトロンと、滑らかで舌に心地良く美味い。 ボリュームもたっぷりで満足度高し。 コッテリとは違うしっかりした出汁感の醤油豚骨はクセになるな。

今は冷泉町と祇園とどっちでやっているんやろ？ 冷泉町の店先眺めて、やっていないのを確認して祇園へ向かう。 おっ祇園はやっているね。 前回中華そば売り切れで喰いそびれたから、今回はなんとしても啜りたい。 お店に入るなり中華そばをオーダー。 ワンタンもつけちゃいましょう。 琥珀色の美しいスープ。 三つ葉のコントラストが洒落とるね。 ふんわり漂う魚介の風味に鶏豚の力強い旨み。 適度にオイリーで、キリッとした醤油ダレがまたいいんだよね(^^) 合わさる自家製麺はコシともっちり感を併せ持ち、風味豊かでスープとの相性はバッチリ！ 美味いねぇ〜 トッピングの豚わんたん、餡が球状でなかなかの肉感。 旨みがしっかりあって、尚且つ皮のチュルンとした喉越しも楽しめる。 イイね、美味いね。 拍子切りのメンマや刻み玉ねぎのアクセントも宜しく、旨味の濃い叉焼も抜かりなし。 ん〜たまらんね♡ メニュー眺めると、何気に醤油やら何やらが以前と変わっているみたい。 進化しとるんやな。
