For Wagyu beef, the pricing is good and the serving is large (around 3-4 layers of meat on top of the rice)! The set comes with egg, soup, and some picked veggies in addition to the actual steak rice bowl. Everything was delicious & prepared with attention to detail! When it was served, the waitress took the time to explain the best way to eat it as well! I came around 12:30 for the lunch special, and there was no wait 😊 A little hidden, but perfect for a lunch or dinner spot if you are touring the temples around Fukuoka Gion! It is right between two of the largest (Tochoji and Shofukuji).

Oh my goodness, what a discovery! My husband and I were looking for lunch option in the area and discovered this gem. We ordered the Beef & Eel Combo Set and a Deluxe Grilled Eel set – the portions are big here. The eel was so fluffy and melt in your mouth, while the beef was nice and tender. You get a small eel omelet, miso soup and some pickles with your meals. You also get a nice view of Tochoji Temple! The owner is so kind and lovely. If we were not leaving tomorrow, we would definitely come back here again for another nice meal 💜
