Incredible service from the team and simply top notch location for powder lovers. It’s truly a SKI in and SKI out resort you are literally by the ticket center of HIRAFU. 🎿They provide lockers for every room and the rental place Niseko Sports also provides great rental supplies (reliable brands and good conditions) Ariel was especially helpful with our rental since we decided to extended our reservation for one more day last minute, all the staff are patient with finding your boot size and such. 🍳AMAZING breakfast selection with the room (you get both coffee/tea AND Juice. The hot chocolate is fantastic highly recommend! Breakfast are in good portions with great amount of protein.(‼️ for skiers) Dinner is okay, it does get a little slow during dinner peak hour but it’s understandable, the dinner menu is a little limiting compared to the breakfast menu. ♨️The hot water/bath in the hotel is very relaxing and refreshing after a day in the mountains. ❤️🩹The team at the Vale are amazing, their English is all very good, especially shoutout to KELLY and Mitch, who helped us with so much going on. Kelly’s hospitality was above and beyond as we encountered a lot of unexpected personal challenges. We wanted to say thank you to Kelly and the team at Vale who accommodated us with our requests. In general, the place can get a bit pricey during the peak snow season, some rooms are a bit small, but the experience and the location of the hotel is definitely worth coming here for.

This is my 2nd time staying at The Vale, as I remembered it being a really great hotel when I stayed in 2016. Fast forward to 2023, and unfortunately the same cannot be said now. Firstly, please note that there is no daily housekeeping. This has been communicated to me upon check in. Change of towels and emptying of trash bins every 2 days, and they only changed the bed linens after 4 days. Breakfast is not buffet style, no Asian/Japanese choices. You can choose 1 main, 1 juice and 1 tea/coffee. And this is really weird for me, seeing that we are in Japan, and yet no Japanese meal choices. Almost all the staff are non-Asians, the only Asian staff I saw was the lady who picked us up from Hirafu welcome centre. Reception staff are much friendlier compared to the restaurant staff, whom had a laissez-faire attitude. If you are intending to have drinks at the bar/restaurant, do note that they close by 9.45pm, as was the case for us when we were there from 24th-28th Feb. Knowing what I know about the hotel now, I wouldn’t be back in the future. As I would rather try out Aya which is just opposite The Vale and has better ski in/out facilities, or other nearby hotels.

The Vale is a gem and Mirko, the GM, is simply the BEST! Our family ski holiday started with horrors when our luggage did not arrive. Communication with the airline was super difficult and mostly lost in transactions. When arrived at the Vale Niseko and informed Mirko about the incident, he immediately took this matter into his hand. He helped coordinate with the airline and with Yamato. He continued to give us a status update throughout. A lovely hotel staff (thank you) collected our luggage from Yamato's Kutchan office and paid for the fees on our behalf. The fees were later paid out of our credit card which was on file. They did not charge us for the collecting fees at all. Most importantly, we did not have to lift a finger and could focus on enjoying our holiday .... thanks Mirko and the Vale Niseko team :) You all gave us a true five-star service and experience. The Vale Niseko is so lucky to have you guys. Thank you again for giving us a wonderful and unforgettable stay at the Vale Niseko. We will not stay anywhere else next time we are there.

Thank you we loved our stay at The Vale, and loved the onsens. The Vale is a fabulous property well located in Hirafu to the snow (on snow, ski in), restaurants, shops, bus stops, food trucks, Seicomart. Our studio room was beautifully furnished, with a small kitchenette including a Nespresso machine. Breakfast was a set menu, with good coffee and cafe style breakfasts. Our favourite was the Breakfast Bowl. I have to say the absolute highlight for us was the staff who were always happy, helpful and fully committed to great customer service. There was always a great vibe in the reception area and the team were super helpful no matter what we asked of them. Whoever is in charge of recruitment and training for The Vale has nailed it. Special thanks to Kelly, Matilda, Jack, Will, Polly - thanks for your recommendations, our lifts, laughing at the reception lollies pranks and the extra coffee pods, and also huge thanks to our housekeeping team - Lesley, Aya and Migao. We had a wonderful stay. Have a great rest of the season.

Our family of seven had an absolutely fantastic stay, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, ensuring that every member of our family felt welcomed and cared for. Special kudos to the housekeeping crew, who maintained impeccable cleanliness throughout our stay, and to the outstanding hospitality team. A huge shoutout to the Guest Experience Ambassador Kelly Coghlan, Alex Palmer, Helena, Coco, and Arvin, whose kindness and attentiveness truly elevated our stay. Their efforts made us feel valued and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. One standout aspect was the valet service, which was particularly helpful during the snowstorm. Having our car ready and accessible despite the challenging weather was a lifesaver, and the valet team handled everything seamlessly and with a smile. Overall, we had a happy and memorable stay, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for making our trip so special!

I recently stayed at Niseko Vale, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The location is perfect, with quick access to stunning onsens and fantastic ski-in ski-out facilities. It made my skiing experience so much easier and more enjoyable. During my stay, I encountered a minor issue with the dehumidifier in my room. I contacted the front desk, and they resolved it immediately—great service! Additionally, I accidentally left my jacket at a restaurant about a 10-minute walk from the hotel and mistakenly took someone else's. The staff at Niseko Vale were incredibly helpful; they coordinated with the restaurant to exchange the jackets and brought mine back to me. A special shoutout to Lachlan and Coco for their exceptional hospitality and support throughout my stay. They truly went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. Overall, Niseko Vale is a wonderful choice for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Niseko while receiving top-notch service. I can't wait to return!
