If you want to experience public sento in the Higashiyama ward area, this is a must try! Went there around 10 pm after a whole day's walk, basically all locals are enjoying their time there. Do try to understand the sento rules so you won't be figuring out what to do when entering😁. Entrance is 450 yen per adult, and you pay at the counter which is located just at the entrance. They have a herbal, electric, hot, and cold bath inside.

タオルレンタルなんと20円！ でも受け取ったレンタルタオルは黄ばんで誰かの髪の毛が挟まってました。 匂いはないけどこれで顔を拭くのはしんどかった… 湯船は水風呂も合わせて6つ。小さくて色々ある。 左から水風呂、激アツ風呂、ジャグジー、座るタイプのジャグジー、電気風呂、薬草の風呂。 水風呂は入れないし、激アツ風呂も暑すぎて入れないし、電気風呂は怖いし(入れる人の条件限られる)、薬草もなんか狭くて濁ってて入る勇気がなかったです。 そして消去法でもジャグジーの風呂しか入れなかったのですが、これは物足りないくらいぬるかった… 激アツとジャグジーの間くらいの温度の風呂をもう一つ作ってくれ笑 ちなみに激アツ風呂は誰も入れない温度ww サウナはいい温度でしたがタオルを木の椅子に敷かないとケツが焼肉になるので諦めました。90年代くらいのJ-POPが流れてて雰囲気はいい感じでした。 シャンプーとリンスのセットが1セット置いているみたいですがその前に潔癖すぎる女が陣取っていて延々と長時間全身をガシンガシン洗ってて使えませんでした…ww ほんとは借りれるのにその人のために数十円でも自腹切るのもなぁと思ったのでその場で買うことはせず、お湯で全身洗いました…🤣 しかしタオルの件もお湯の件もサウナの件も番頭のおばあちゃんは決して悪くない。長生きされていて、まだ夜遅くまでお仕事されていて本当に頭が上がりません。 入店してすぐの「おこしやす〜」で京都を感じられたし、帰り際の「おおきに〜」にも、癒されました。 ドライヤーは20円。しかしKOIZUMI製のドライヤー。出力は弱いのでぬるくて乾きませんでした。。 うぉぇぇぇえって思う部分が多かったので 2回目はないですね。。。

Great bath, it offers Massage Chairs, A wide selection of drinks. There's also a vending machine outside which is really convenient. The person who runs the shop was very nice and kind to me unlike the staff at Asahi-Yu. They offer FREE shampoo, which is very nice. The electric bath and the custom bath (Has different types of drinks) had no warnings in English telling people to not get in if you have this disease. Overall, this place is pretty nice and has...
