Hanatoki — Hotel in Kyoto

I can not recommend this place enough. Our room was spacious and clean. Lovely large bathroom with deep bath and wet room. Free wifi. The breakfast was a delicious traditional Japanese home cooked one. Its situation couldn't be better a short walk to where all the action is and underground station but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle to be quiet and tranquil at night. Very comfy beds, slept very well. The staff were fantastic, very warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. They did our washing for us and recommended us places to visit. Service at its best! There is also the possibility of experiencing a maiko performance in the theatre attached which i would also highly recommend. We have been made so welcome it has been hard to say goodbye. We will definitely stay here again...

Strongly recommend, convenient and central location, close to Subway and walking distance from the gion area. Very clean. Mr. Takeshi, who hosted us, was amazing: he helped us in so many ways, reserving restaurants, supporting us to find a lost object, supper efficient. You will not be disappointed. We skipped breakfast option (which was quite simple) as there are plenty Coffee places nearby the hotel that are suuuper tasty,...

My stay at Kikue Hotel Kyoto has been nothing but fabulous, the location is great and close to the main areas of Kyoto. The staff is very friendly and helpful assisting us with our day by day itinerary’s. Can’t recommend this...
