Loved the e-bike tour with Kevin. One of the favorite things we did on our trip. It was a hot day, but he planned a route that would keep us away from the hot crowded areas and get a good taste of the real Kyoto. Enjoyed some quite spots along the Philosophers Path and some of the most beautiful gardens in Kyoto. Highly recommend! The next day we did an early bird tour with Shanda. It was completely worth it to get up early and see Fushimi-inari shrine before the crowds. Shanda shared a wealth of knowledge about the history, customs and traditions which made the tour very special. Her enthusiasm was contagious, giving us a better appreciation for the many treasures of Kyoto. In both cases, communication was excellent and Kyoto Fun did a great job helping us plan our time. I highly recommend you let them help plan and guide you while...

Niall was my tour guide and he emailed me a few days before to agree on a meeting time and location that met both of our needs. The tour was fabulous! I signed up for the Kyoto City Night Tour, and we visited several districts in Kyoto, temples, and more. Niall is very knowledgeable about the history of Japan, especially of Kyoto and the Geisha culture. He could also speak of the religions of Japan, which was helpful at the various temples that we stumbled upon. We ended the evening at a Izakaya for a beer and some tasty Japanese snacks. If I had more time here, I'd do more of the tours from this company! The day after the tour, Niall sent an email recapping the tour, which was helpful to remember the names and significance of all the beautiful...

Our tour of Fushimi Inari has definitely been one of the highlights of our honeymoon! Milo made the tour very educational both historically and spiritually, while also providing a welcoming atmosphere for us and customizing the tour to fit our vibe more. He was so knowledgeable in how to participate to add another layer to our experience. Not to mention he helped us pose and get some amazing photos. After the tour, we stopped for coffee and chatting, and he gave us some great recommendations for food and activities while we are in Kyoto. Visiting the shrine was a very special experience, and we are grateful Milo made it that...

Kevin is absolutely the best guide ever to do the evening walk with. He knows all the ins and outs about the maiko’s and Geiko’s of Kyoto. He is respectful to them and makes sure his group will be as well so these amazing women can do their jobs peacefully. Besides his knowledge about the maiko’s and Geiko’s, he takes you along beautiful tempels and the historical center of Kyoto. He is patient and will answer all the question fired at him. Definitely a must do when in Kyoto!
