Very disappointing experience overall because of the following: bathroom stank of humidity there is a sensor and when I moved in bed and needed to go to the toilet at night the light turned on automatically (there was no way to turn this off) the sink was clogged we could only open the window by 5cm staff doesn’t speak English and didn’t know much. We asked if they could book us a taxi and they said no we asked for an iron and they said another guest had it and that we would get it the next day, the next day it was still not available, and we never had the opportunity to get it. We also asked for a restaurant recommendation and they told us to go in the street and look for one. there is not enough room to open even just one big luggage in the room which is really inconvenient we had to leave the luggage at a different place as we arrived before check in which is by the way super late at 3pm the blind was broken and they were not able to fix during our stay The beds were comfy but that was about it, save yourself the money and get another hotel. Do...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed for 2 nights and had a great time! The hotel only has three rooms per floor, meaning very little noise from neighbors. Our room was very clean when we arrived, and we were even able to check in a few hours early. The hotel received our luggage ahead of time from Osaka and even moved it up to our room for us. The hotel is on a quiet street a 20 min walk from popular tourist areas, a 10 min walk from bars along the Tamakase River, and a 7 minute walk to the closest train station. The beds are very comfortable, and the room has great ambient lighting. The shower room was very clean, and we noticed a curtain by the sink that would be good for friends traveling together for privacy while changing and washing up. While the room wasn't cleaned during our stay, it was very easy to keep the space tidy. An overall...
Read moreWonderful & decent hotel if you're willing to walk a bit. The closest bus stop is 5 minutes away, but if you want to go to the shopping street at Kawaramachi Station, it's 10 minutes. It's not far at all, typing it out like this, but going back to the hotel after a long day might be a little frustrating if you don't know your way around the bus/metro lines. ||On the positive side, which in my opinion outweighs the con by far, it's close to Sannenzaka and is in a quiet area. The room is quiet, clean, and has everything you need. Compared to other hotels we've stayed in (in this price range), it was also quite spacious. The staff was pleasant and helpful; they were really friendly and did their best. ||I would recommend this hotel for the above reasons! We didn't mind walking, so it was great and added...
