Keep on mind that reservations are required for all foreign visitors, instructions on how to do it can be found on the Volks Japan web site. Take note that the location only has information in Japanese and there may not be any English speakers on staff during your visit. This is a shop, garden, cafe, and museum for members of Volks Super Dollfie. There is no admission fee but paid membership to Volks is required to enter. ドルフィーオーナーなら一度は行ってみたいドールの生まれ故郷です。 但し、ドールオーナー全員が無条件で入れる場所ではなく、入館にはボークスの有料会員証と顔写真付きの身分証明書(免許証かパスポートが望ましい)が必要です。事前予約が必要な場合もあります。日本でありながら、天使の里という別の世界を訪れるという考え方が一番近いかなと思います。 こんな書き方をしてしまえば、宗教的なイメージを持たれてしまいそうですが、宗教とは一切関係無いのでご安心ください。 地下一階はショップ、一階～四階は撮影スペースや展望室になっていて、雨の日でも霞中庵をバックに写真撮影可能です。 また、今までの限定SDや販売終了になったスタンダードモデルの展示スペースは圧巻です。どんどん生まれ変わる、ドールの歴史を垣間見ることができるエリアです。 私の行った時は閉まっていましたが、カフェスペースもあり、ドールさんとお茶を楽しむこともできます。 霞中庵は建物の隣にある庭園で、花鳥風月を楽しみながら野外撮影も可能ですが、2019年３月現在は昨年の台風被害の修繕工事が行われているため残念ながら立ち入ることができませんが、大変歴史的、文化的価値の高い庭園です。ぜひ展望室から眺めてみてください。 また、偶然だとは思いますが、この土地自体に天使が舞い降りると言われるのに相応しい理由があります。 その不思議な理由も含めて、SDドールオーナーさんは思い...
