We came to Sushi Iso in after a long and full day, in our first trip to Japan. The space was pretty small, with a quiet atmosphere. We sat at the counter watching the chef prepare the sushi. He did it with such care and precision and was very sweet and welcoming. He didn't speak very much English and we didn't speak very much Japanese but we had easy going conversation, and he was extremely polite and humble. At the end of our meal he gave us little origami figurines for us to take back for memories and repetitively thanked us for visiting. The fish tasted fresh and high quality. We spent around 2,000-3,000 Yen per person here. I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a fan of hot breakfast-type eggs and meat, so I didn't eat much of the savory egg. I asked about dessert options after I ate my meal, and they said they have several ice creams available. They were out of cookies and cream when I was there, so I just had a scoop of vanilla, which still satisfied my craving. Both Japanese and English menus...
