I can't recommend this place enough! Probably the best food we had on our trip to Japan. We were probably the only tourists there but this place had a constant stream of locals coming in for dinner (which probably is a testament to how good they are). Incredible authentic home style Japanese cooking, run by the Inoue family for 40 years! I almost donโ€™t want to advertise them, as to keep it a hidden gem :-). This place is a gem. The hosts were very nice and the place was well priced. We donโ€™t speak any Japanese, a side from a few words we looked up. Donโ€™t be intimidated by the atmosphere. The beans, karage, tempura and sashimi, along with the squid were great plates. Right off the station. They have a good selection of drinks too.

We were probably the only tourists there but this place had a constant stream of locals coming in for dinner (which probably is a testament to how good they are). The food was so rich in flavour and the staff were very warm and friendly too! Would definitely come back the next time I'm in this area.
