Ekimae Parlor JO-TERRACE OSAKA — Restaurant in Osaka

Stopped here with my wife on the walk back to the station after visiting Osaka Castle. Although located next door to a more specialised pancake cafe, it was the picture of a stack of pancakes topped with fruit and cream that draw us into Ekimae Parlor. The service was friendly and they brought us an extra plate and implements when we just ordered the one stack between both of us. We enjoyed the meal. Only observation is that by the last few pieces where a bit dry as I had mopped up all the maple syrup with previous mouthfuls. But all in all a pretty satisfactory stop and we would stop there if we were walking...

It was very difficult to order anything at this place because server couldnt really understand despite our pointing to the photos in the menu. When 3 of us ordered the "freshly" made fried chicken meal, the server scowled and just grabbed the menus from our hands, even if we were still looking at it! So rude. Them she brought in only 2 orders forgetting there were 3. The "freshly" made chicken was soggy and the batter not cooked thoroughly. We could not finish the meal and left after paying. What a horrible experience. Never again. Give this...

大阪城公園の梅林で梅を観た後、お昼を食べれる所を探していて、美味しそうなメニューの看板が目に止まりこちらに決めました。

お昼といってもピーク時は過ぎており15時頃だったと思います。 窓越しに店内を見ると空席がかなりありましたがすぐには入れて貰えず外で案内されるのを少し待ちました。

店内は昔ながらの喫茶店といった感じで席はゆったり目。雰囲気はいい感じでた。 オーダーから料理が提供されるまでさほど時間はかかりませんでしたが、私が注文した唐揚げは冷めたやつを揚げなおしたものなのでしょう。 かなりガビガビでかたいし味ないしイマイチ😅 ボリュームはありました。 税込¥1100はこの立地とボリュームを考えたら妥当かなぁと思います。

ただ、働いている方に機敏さはなく、テーブルの片付けがなかなか進まず放ったままの空席が目につき、要領はあまり良くないなぁと感じました。

他の方も書いていますが、なぜトレーを使わないのか🤔 トレーに乗せて片付ければ済むのに手でしようとするから遅くなる。 ホールに3人もいるのに上手く回転しないのは、見ていてう～ん😓といった感じ。 いっそセルフにしたらいいのに…。
