It is a museum to Sen no Rikyu(Influencial in the Way of Tea) and writer Yosano Akiko. Both are very famous historical figures that were born in Sakai. The museum is called Sakai Risho no Mori and it is a very modern building that is beautifully and spaciously designed. The museum is ¥300 and well worth it as their is Wifi Guidance in English, Potonhua, Hangul, and Taiwanese Chinese. Although it is nice to see historical artifacts, nothing is more powerful and amazing than being able to experience a genuine tea ceremony at the site. It is not highly advertised, but to the left of the ticket counters here is a tea room. For just ¥500 one can experience a tea ceremony in one of the 3 main Rikyu styles of tea ceremonies....
