After a relaxing soak at Tenryo-no-yu, we visited this tax-free souvenir shop (2 Chome‑180 Nishinoisshikimachi) inside Takayama Green Hotel, open until 10 PM—perfect for last-minute shopping!

We picked up Takayama red monkeys, fortune cats, and cute keychains—all neatly packaged, ready as gifts. The selection is massive: snacks, crafts, sake, toys, local goods—all in one place.

Don't miss the craft and activity corner to make your own sarubobo mascot, grill japanese rice cracker or DIY decoratives. Amongst others, bought beautiful hand made Japanese design postcards for JPY40, what a steal!. Highly recommended as 1-stop shop for souvenirs, local crafts and goodies.
