I loved this store. I was able to shop, in peace, w no issues. Good luck finding that in rhe U.S. the store itself was so well designed, I found it easy to locate items. Purchased some A5 steaks and they were delicious. While the A5 selection wasn't as large as I expected, you can locate here , w a variety of fat levels/marbling you can select. The store has a good alcohol selection as well. However, they don't have some items, as I mention below. Hope this helps any parents out there

If you are visiting Takayama this is the place to go to buy things you might need on the cheap. I was walking around looking for a sandwich/ snack which I could eat on my 2 and half ride to nagoya but everywhere I went was small and expensive. Here I could get everything I needed (and a few snacks I didn't need) For less then all the take away stores near Takayama station or in the main street.
