Burger Mania Hiroo — Restaurant in Tokyo

I came to this restaurant after a long day of wildlife photography at a park that was conveniently near by (Arisigawa park). I was, to be honest, starving. From what i heard this was an amazing burger restaurant, where there were very long lines.

Probably because i went at such a strange time, there was no line. In fact, it was pretty empty except for one or two other customers. The shop looks pretty much like any other from outside, but on the inside it looks pretty awesome. The music is very well chosen, and the volume was low enough for me to have a conversation without raising my voice.

The food came out pretty quickly. They served hamburgers with pineapples in them - which is my favorite type of burger. In my opinion, it’s very hard to come across a burger shop that sells that. It was amazing. The meat was slightly rare (pink on the inside) and thin, which is exactly how i like it. They also sold pancakes, such i heard were incredible (specifically my friend said it was the best pancake she ever had). So i had to try them. Three medium sized pancakes, a generous amount of powdered sugar, strawberries and blueberries, and syrup (on the side for you to pour on to taste). It was, indeed, the best pancakes i ever had in my life.

I went to this place alone as my friend will follow me after her medical appointment I ordered cheeseburger and ginger ale. After my food arrived I start eating my friend came and the doctor asked her not to eat or drink for few hours so she did not order but the waiter was not happy with this. I explain for her and translate to Japanese the condition but the only answer from the waiter is "sorry rules"!!! My friend can not stay without ordering anything! Although it was 3 pm and less than half of the restaurant occupied!! My friend went out and the waiter was happy but I was so angry. I called the waiter to show me were is the rule written in the menu and she show it to me only in Japanese and I can not read it. She answer me the same "sorry rules" I do respect rules if you let me understand it first!!! I ask to talk to the manager but they said no manager and when I ask for phone number they give me number to call after 3 day so the manager will respond to me! I wonder how this kind of behavior will be helpful for Tokyo 2020!! They should be ready to...

I usually go to the one in Shirokane but I tried Hiroo's burger mania.

I ordered a grilled egg bacon and cheese sandwich. It was good, but not mind blowing. The fries are average.

I usually order a cheeseburger and they are quite good. Although I won't say it's the best burger in Tokyo (far from that), they're worth the try.

They have a long menu so anyone can find something they like. It's a bit expensive, but not very surprising for burgers in Tokyo. You have to wait a bit but they say the burgers and sandwiches are made only when the order is made so that the products are fresh.
