Born in the '80s and grew up in the '90s in the US. This store is like my childhood but Japanese. I absolutely love it. Normally, I don't go for Disney merchandise or visit any of the Disney stores or go to Disney world or Disneyland. I'm not even going to the Disney in Tokyo. It's just not my thing, and I don't like to be around tons of people. I was at this store about 30 minutes before they closed, and the staff was still really nice and friendly even though they definitely wanted to go home. The aesthetic is beautiful, everything that you expect from Disney and more. It was fun hearing some of the classic Disney songs in Japanese. And I really appreciated the collaborative merch with Shibuya and Tokyo. There was lots of special merchandise for the new year, and if I were a huge Disney fan, I would have dropped thousands in this store. Easily. If you love Disney, don't miss the store. I don't have many other Disney stores to compare it to other than the ones in the mall in Jacksonville Florida, but it is fantastic and beautiful. Even if you're not super into Disney, it's worth checking out. Besides, what a cool gift to get somebody who does love Disney, right? You can go as big as you want with a present or a small as you want. There's definitely a wide range of...
Read moreMultilevel Disney store where you can buy Disney park tickets at the top level. This store is adorable!
I mean, all Disney stores are adorable let’s be honest about that but this is definitely one as well. We went here because it was one of the locations in Tokyo where you could buy your Disneyland and Disneysea tickets. For those who are trying to maximize their time in the parks, this line is going to save you as much of it! When we got there, it was around 5pm and there was a bit of a line. I’d say around 20 or so people. The line definitely wrapped around the room but again, since we were just shopping I didn’t mind. When we got to the front, we were able to decide what kind of tickets we wanted to get. It also helped that we were able to use credit cards in addition to yen because we didn’t want to use up all of our dollars.
The transaction was quick and easy and when we were done we just went on our merry way and continued shopping for the rest of the day! I only wanted to write a review to help out my fellow Googlers so that they, too, can know that this is a verified Disney...
