While exploring Shibuya, we made a memorable stop at Gyumon Halal Wagyu, a well-known halal wagyu spot that has gained popularity among Muslim travelers in Japan. What made the experience even more special was meeting the restaurant manager, Mr. Sato, affectionately known as “Haji Bakhil”—a nickname he proudly carries since his student exchange program in Malaysia back in 2003. His ability to speak fluent Malay in the heart of Tokyo was both impressive and heartwarming, instantly making us feel at home.

We tried their signature wagyu ramen, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the wagyu slices—tender and flavorful—simply melted in the mouth. For those who enjoy a little kick, they offer a spice level option, so you can customize it to your liking. If you prefer your ramen without any heat, just go for “pedas level 0” and you’re good to go.

The warm hospitality, combined with the authentic halal Japanese experience, made this one of our favorite meals in Tokyo. Thank you, Mr. Sato, for the delicious food and genuine Malaysian spirit in the middle of Shibuya. This spot is definitely a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy halal wagyu in Japan with a personal,...

DO NOT GO TO THESE HALAL WAGYU RAMEN SPOTS! They are tourist traps!!! Just because it's "halal", they charge NYC prices for a bowl of ramen that barely fills you up.

The taste? Okay at best. They give you 2 tiny thin pieces of sliced wagyu pieces.

The portion size? Pathetic. At least in NYC when you pay 15-20 USD for ramen, you're stuffed!

The service? I had to remind our server about the dessert we ordered, TWICE! We reminded him. Then sat for 15-20 minutes. And had to remind him again!

The atmosphere? We had to sit outside because it was full inside. Can't hold that against them too much, but we were sat at an unstable table which rocked back and forth.

Do not come here, unless you want to get ripped off!

If you want halal ramen, go to "Halal ramen Pranpone plus", that brother has much more...

My wife and I were struggling to find a place for a late lunch in Shibuya around 3 PM, and discovering GYUMON was a godsend. We both ordered the Wagyu Ramen & Gyukatsu Set, and it was fantastic. The ramen broth was rich and flavorful, and the wagyu was incredibly tender. The gyukatsu was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. What truly made our visit special was the service. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and caring, going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They were wonderful with our baby daughter, who happily devoured her own serving of rice with wagyu beef topping. It's a testament to the quality when even the little one nearly cleans her plate! For anyone looking for a top-quality meal with amazing service in Shibuya, this is the...
