I'm going to give Midtown Management a 1 star..it SHOULD BE ZERO!!!!. And here's why. (This also applies to the Roppongi Mid-town too...)
They have a team of Employees who go around telling visitors not to park bicycles in places that clearly serve no purpose other than being available for parking bicycles, and at the same time, seemingly provide no official dedicated bicycle parking for Clientele... which smacks of double-standards, given that they allow the e-bicycle-hire parking areas to become a collective mess/jumble of red bicycles located strewn all over the place - though at least contained within at one or more wide sections of their properties - but that clearly discrimiates against private bicycle owners who neatly park out of the way. I would dare say, that this Cooperate behavior potentially suggests that a back-hand bribe from the Companies running these bicycle e-share operations, may be involved here, just as may also be the case with certain Subway stations.
Interestingly and additionally, I have never seen shared e-Bikes being cleansed after usage... I'd personally recommend avoiding them like the plague, to coin an appropriate phrase, these days, since the virus remains upon surfaces for up to 2 weeks or more...
Within Midtown (Hibya) - there is little concern over COVID19 and Social distancing, you can walk around unaccosted with no face mask - which may be accidental or on purpose, and there's no checks upon people who may be exhibiting a higher than normal body temperature at the entrances.
So in short, those individuals who have taken health matters seriously by avoiding public transport and cycling places are met with indignation, scorn and bad treatment. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point we read of someone getting so annoyed with such an establishments Staff behavior, that should they themselves be found to be infected, go back on purpose in order to have the whole Complex shutdown for cleansing... maybe a reality check needs to take place, and some relaxations upon Cyclists be allowed, or at least provide guidance upon where to park your bicycle !!!! Hence MidTown Management - you get 0 stars in my review.
I truly hope to change this...
Read moreThis viewing platform is a really nice one—the main platform is on the 6th floor. It's expansive, and there are also quite a number of places to sit and view the scene, including benches and sofas (even ones for lying down and gazing at the stars). It offers a nice unblocked view of the Hibiya Park just in front of the mall, and parts of the Imperial Palace, as well as the surrounding tall buildings in Tokyo. It's quite a nice view, and it's a quiet mall, and the seats are spaced apart, so it's...
