Good Cheese Good Pizza — Restaurant in Tokyo

Food was not that wow, cheeses are tasteless, pizza is not super hot plus I'm particularly not satisfied the service, especially the staff who's in charge the reservation list, we went there yesterday evening at 6:45, it's not crowed, and there's a counter seat available but the staff seems not willing to give us and asking us to go back in an hour, i feel like they try to refused client especially you are not japanese!!!!! Then we went back and trun out is exactly sitting at counter, i was wondering WHY have to wait an hour?!!!! Sitting at counter is like being ignored, nothing was well prepared to set up, have to ask the staff for many times like fork, water and chilly sauce etc etc, I'm quite disappointed i would highly recommend you guys go to 800drgreed pizza...

AMBIANCE: 4.0. Didn't feel squeezed. Can be loud, but we had no problem carrying a conversation.

SERVICE: 4.0. Prompt, with good coordination among the staff.

FOOD: 4.0. We shared two seasonal (winter) set menus; it was plenty: Cheese plate. Three soft cheeses, all made on-site. Mild taste. Salads : Four salads of three types: octopus/avocado, duck with orange and mushrooms, tuna / tomato / red onion Pizza: We ordered 2 pizzas, each split between two pizza types: Margherita, oysters/tomato/greens, Genovese, zucchini / red onion. Good rather thin crust, unburnt.

I am Italian and I can be quite picky with “Italian food…so I usually avoid it.”but after eating strait traditional Japanese food for over a week, I felt like a change and I since had heard pizza in Japan can be quite nice we diced to go for it. I can honestly say this was ABSOLUTELY the BEST pizza I have ever had, anywhere. outside of Italy!! The crust was perfection!
