I have a pleasant stay at Pullman Tokyo. It's only a 5-minute walk from the Tamachi Train Station, which is super convenient. The entrance of the hotel is a bit different, it's located on the 2nd floor instead of the ground level. Imagine you are carrying a few pieces of luggage? It's not a problem at all. In fact, it's super easy to drag them to Pullman Tokyo without any effort coz you don't even need to move the luggage via stairs. If you enter via the ground level coz that's where the taxi stand drops you off, there are escalators. If you are coming from the Tamachi Train Station, it's the same floor (2nd). Reception staff are courteous and friendly, they noticed you the moment you walk into the entrance. They speak a good level of English so they understand what I need and could make recommendations about the area. Tamachi, to me, is a bit a new area where it's a good residential area and financial area. The hotel is chic, modern, artsy and luxurious. I like art pieces around the lobby. I stayed at a hotel room with a king size bed, the bed and pillows were comfy and clean. I like the fact that the toiler was located from the shower, so 2 people can do their businesses without intervene each other. The closets (2 of them) were full size and were spacious. The Pullman Pajamas were clean and comfy. Some people may not be used to the bathroom sink being out in the open concept hotel room and beside the office desk but I personally love it. It's something unique and different from the typical cookie cutter hotel rooms. One major thing I appreciate is how spacious the hotel room was. In many Japanese hotels or Asian hotels overall, the hotel room size are pretty small. But Pullman Tokyo has the North American room size standard, that I feel I may have take it for granted when I see the big size but when I travel to Asia, I appreciate big size room dearly. The breakfast spot at Kasa was phenomenal, great selections of buffet style with Japanese fusion of Japanese and Western items. The BEST part? While I can indulge the buffet items, I can also order a la carte such as omelette and sunny up eggs. In particular, I really like the self-serve orange juice machine and the miso soup station. They even have fresh honey station that can grind out fresh honey on the spot straight from my homeland Canada. The Platform 9 lounge at the rooftop was nice. It's not super big, but it does serve cool cocktails. During my stay at Pullman Tokyo, the new shopping centre was slowly but surely taking shape. New restaurants were opening from Italian food to oysters and wine, chinese wonton ramen, etc. The grocery store is about to open. There is also a 24 hours Ramen shop, eventually, this will be a super new hotspot for restaurant and grocery shopping and a place to hang out. I highly recommend this Pullman Tokyo.

Pullman Tamachi had excellent transport links and convenient amenities. Hotel is ideally located, right next to JR Tamachi station. Incredibly convenient. Both Yamanote line and Keihan Tohoku line depart from the same platform waiting area. Just hop on to either platforms and be at Tokyo station in 10mins. In the opposite direction, Yamanote provides direct access to shibuya and shinjuku. A short walk away is Mita station with Asakasa line and Mita line, that are useful to get to the North and East side of Tokyo. There was a sheltered walkway at level 2 that connect Tamachi station to pulllman entrance, so there wasn’t a need to head down to level 1. However, the Taxi drop off area can be tricky to find, even local drivers had difficulty navigating to it. To access the driveway, turn in from this junction https://maps.app.goo.gl/ahSV8Dxgg9XsUYJh9?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy, the driveway may looks like a walking path, but Pullman drop off was on the left of this nicely paved driveway. Adjacent to Pullman was a small mall, with mainly food outlets. The Life supermarket opens till 12 midnight, that was a great alternative to convenience stores for late night needs. Additionally, Keio Nakadori Street, just a short walk away, was a great place for late dinner. Hotel premises were clean and well maintained with not much signs of wear and tear over the years. Staffs at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Although this Pullman leans more towards a business hotel, our kid enjoyed the stay equally. We had a pleasant and hassle free stay on a leisure family trip.

Ok, I've been to the Pullman in Redwood Shores, Cali and it's really nice. I've even experienced the Sofitel in Manila,( which falls under the same 'hotel brand umbrella' ) and it was one of most elegant 5 Stars resorts on the water. But I have to admit, that the outstanding treatment from the staff as well as all the state of the art high tech amenities this hotel has to offer, puts the Pullman in Tamachi Tokyo Japan at the top of my list. I'll make this as short and sweet as I can because I'm not very good at crafting lengthy reviews. A few things that come to my mind that I will always remember on this visit ; 1- The in-room shower.... It's like taking a shower in a hot rain storm. Lol Great water pressure! 2- In-room Illy Espresso machine... Retro appeal with a strong caffeine kick and quality taste. 3- The Toto toilet... Growing up in America I didn't have these automatic bidet style masterpieces in my bathroom but Heyyooo! I need one! Pulsating bidet wash, heated seats, air dry?! 4- The Pullman Staff... Very courteous and so personable. They met our expectations and went light years beyond. I cannot thank them enough for all their professionalism and kindness! Honorable mentions; 1- Ka Sa restaurant (in the hotel)... Amazing buffet bfast. First ones to arrive, clean with plenty of local cuisine options. 2- Fitness center 3- Table Tennis in the lobby.. So fun and a great way to start out the morning with a little activity. 4- Lounge access... Came with our package. The lounge access gave us food and drink privileges that put smiles on our faces! Thank you Pullman

On my recent trip to Japan, I stayed in four Accor hotels, which were Mercure Tokyo Ginza, Ibis style Osaka Namba, Swissotel Osaka Nankai, and Pullman Tokyo Tamachi. Pullman Tokyo Tamachi gave me a disappointed staying experience. It was my second stay here. I had some issues with the room in my previous stay, and the hotel recorded my room preference in their system to ensure that they could provide a better experience on my next visit. That's why I have high expectations for the room. It turned out I got a room on the third floor facing office building, just like my last stay: no room upgrade, no other offer for a room change. The preferred room for me is a high floor room on the Tamachi station side. The staff couldn't do anything more than saying sorry. I might have too high expectations for Pullman Tamachi. Besides, among the four hotels I stayed in this trip, Pullman Tamachi is the only hotel that I'm still waiting for their response to my feedback on their customer satisfaction survey. I have never been treated like this in any other Accor hotels. These are how Pullman Tamachi treats me, its platinum loyalty members. I am just disappointed.

We stayed 5 nights at this nice and convenient hotel in Tokyo. Pros: Spacious rooms, amazing rain shower, fridge and safe in rooms, nice executive lounge with good food and drinks, everything looks clean, staff is nice, located conveniently right by train station and subway. Amazing grocery store next doors called Life. Seven-11 also nearby. Some things could have been done better; the mattress is not the most comfortable, they are using a very hard old mattress which they then put on a separate topper to make it bearable to sleep on. It’s annoying when hotels try to cut corners on the most important aspect of their guests’ stay - sleep. Also the room really doesn’t have any drawers to put away clothing (like tshirts, underwear, socks) which is a drawback. The iron provided is a total junk. The gym lacks more equipment (like for leg extensions, situps) and accessories as there is currently ample space. Get some more attachments for the cable machines (like a bar so we can do tricep workouts) and provide things like foam rollers, bosu ball, kettle bells, resistance bands, etc. So overall a nice stay with couple of shortcomings.

I can't agree more with all the earlier positive reviews. Extremely clean hotel and accessible (near to 2 stations, Tamachi and Mita). I strongly recommend to buy to Tokyo Metro Pass (24/48/72 hours pass) for you to get around Tokyo. The closest station to the hotel is Tamachi (JR) which the Tokyo Metro Pass cannot be used but you can easily cross over the street over the linkway from the hotel to get to Mita station. The staff greeted professionally right from the moment we arrived at the front desk and they were very helpful. One of the staff sent our our baggages to our room and immediately effected to bring another luggage rack over to the room as we have 2 big baggages - very attentive. Another staff offered to bring our welcome drinks to the front desk as we had to check out early morning to catch our flight. It's the small things that count in a big way. The rooms are spacious as compared to the hotels in Japan (it's big enough to open 3 luggages and have space to walk around). Overall a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this hotel (price is slightly on the higher side though).
