Rainbow Karaoke Shibuya — Attraction in Tokyo

On the evening of November 28, we went to this place, and it turned out to be a terrible experience. Not only did they charge us extra when we were leaving, but we also got food poisoning that night.

At first, everything seemed fine. We booked a two-hour session, and 10 minutes before our time was up, they called to confirm that we would be leaving soon. Right after, the lights in the room turned off, we left and decided to have a quick cigarette. When we went to pay, they claimed we stayed longer than two hours and charged us for an extra half-hour for two people!

We tried to explain the situation and asked why they charged us, but one of the staff was very rude. She didn’t let us speak and interrupted us every time we tried to explain. No one spoke English, so we had to use a translator app, but they didn’t even pay attention to it. To avoid more trouble, we just paid the extra fee. After paying, we asked if we could at least have a drink since unlimited drinks were included in the package we bought. They refused and treated us so badly it felt like they were kicking us out.

When we got back to the hotel, a few hours later, we both got food poisoning. It was a horrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this...

We reserved a room a day before. We got there and chose the standard drink package that included unlimited drinks excluding beer and highballs. We were given a QR code to order drinks from. We used that to order 3 drinks. Drinks were delivered within 10 minutes. It took us some time to figure out how to use the iPad and stereo. We finally got settled and sang a few songs. We tried to order more drinks and kept getting en error code. About 5 minutes later the guy we spoke to at the front desk told us we ordered more expensive drinks and our bill would be more. There was a language barrier and a lot of back and forth on google translator. We did not order the wrong drinks. They tried to do a bait and switch to charge us more. We decided to leave after 20 minutes of back and forth and getting nowhere. Beware of price changes to upcharge. From my understanding they don’t make money off of the room, but what they charge you. I will never recommend this place to anyone. The man we worked...

I can say the karaoke room itself and the drink bar are amazing, however the staff has been anywhere from rude to incompetent the 3 times I ended up visiting (different groups of friends who wanted to try it out)

We got the all you can drink plan for 2 hrs and food and it took them 20 minutes for our first drink order and, I kid you not, one hour for our food to arrive. We complained 3 different times and in the end they wanted to charge us tax but it was different to what I asked before going. Staff treated me poorly and as if I was dumb (i dont know if because im a foreigner)

I will be definetly stay away from here even if my friends want to go. Honestly just go to Manekineko or Big echo. Super dissapointed, and even...
