I stayed here for business. The location is good, but the cost performance is terrible. I spent 5 days here. I expected that for 26000, the amenities would justify the cost, but actually I would have been more comfortable at a business hotel at a minor station. Simply leaving the shopping complex that is the hotel in the morning is a waste of time, with coffee in another tower. I paid for breakfast for one morning but the line of confused looking tourists people and atmosphere was like a carnival. I left the line, because to wait would make me late for meetings. As others commented, the walls are very thin. At night, you can hear thunderous love making in high fidelity. Earplugs fixed this on the second night. The room was narrow and the furniture was very old. But the bed was reasonably comfortable and the cleaning was good. It’s damp, and the windows don’t open, so one has to imagine that they are going to lengths to clean up any visible mold; but you can feel it in the air when you breathe.

I could have stayed at JAL City in Koto ku, or another very nice and adequate hotel for business travel for this price, so to wish I was staying at an APA for half as much, was disappointing. I would have been better rested, better fed, and better prepared for business.

I was honestly worried about my visit after reading some of the reviews, but honestly it was fine!! The service wasn't rude, but was definitely a bit cold for Japan standards. ||I arrived early and went to drop my bag and the line was an absolute joke - I queued for 30 minutes so get there early if you're in a rush!! There is one line for the entire hotel, not just the east tower. ||||I'd read reviews that the non-smoking rooms still reeked of smoke, however I emailed them advising I have asthma and the room I was given had no smell of smoke at all. It was however absolutely tiny - even for Tokyo standards. It was fine for one night just me, but for a couple it would be a squeeze. The air con seems centrally controlled however and it was a bit stuffy at night - even in December. ||||There's no space to open your case on the floor, so I did this on the bed which isn't a big deal but may take a bit of juggling if there's a few of you. ||||I didn't have breakfast as it was an absolute RIP OFF at £20 per person - there's a conbini down the road and a supermarket attached to the station so just grab something there. ||||I'd honestly stay here again however when I inevitably come back to Tokyo!!
